The first day had begun, he had come into the room from his mother, screaming and crying as babies often do and all who was in the room was him and his mother. The first 12 months passed quickly for him in the room and he did what any baby did as an infant and carried out his life. He got to know his mother very well she made some sounds that soothed his ears but everytime she sang it got fainter until she stopped singing but just looked with a sad look with eyes that had a certain emptyness to them and one night while putting him to bed she started to cry and hugged him but he went to sleep to awake to no mother just a room, the room he had been born into and the room he would spend his life in. The room was very plain with grey walls but with no door and a little square cut out which food had come through and also lights on the ceiling and in the room other than him was stainless steel bed, table, sink, toilet, wardrobe, bookshelf, shower and a TV, the TV would be turned on for him and would supply directions which he learnt how to read by 4 and began doing what it said which usually were just basic tasks but sometimes a grey haired man who wore a plain suit with the letters WBC behind him would appear on the TV and he told him a war was going on outside among other things. The years passed by quickly doing the same thing day in, day out and the TV would be the only source of entertainment and the same grey haired man would appear on the TV but every year getting little wrinkles on his face and he would always speak of the war outside, how it was destroying cities and he learned why the war had happened, it was due to science going to far with robotics and merging flesh with metal so the public found this inhuman and tryed to stop it but there were 13 that survived and they started "converting" humans to what they were and the population of the cyborgs grew but all they want was rights and peace but they wanted something else as well that was far greater, they wanted humans which they called "hosts" which they could possess and inhabit so they could live on and this started a great war between man and robots.
