It's a sunny day in Paris Sophia wakes up her arms wrapped around Josie's body who is still sleeping she smiles at the view and gives her a soft forehead kiss.

Josie smiles when she feels the kiss.

"You missed my lips." She says her eyes still closed.

Sophia chuckles and gives her a soft kiss with that Josie opens her eyes and stretches in bed.

"Goodmorning." Josie tells her. 

"Goodmorning." Sophia says caressing Josie's leg right away Josie knows where this is going. 

"Mmm, I know what you're doing." Josie tells her smiling.

"What? Im just caressing my girls nice.. soft.. legs." Sophia tells her with a shrug.

"Mmhmm." Josie tells her. "It's pretty early."

"That's never been a problem." Sophia says teasing.

"No it hasn't." Josie tells her back in flirtatious tone.

And next thing they know they're both kissing each other heatedly, Josie on top of  her wasting no time they're both laughing.

As Josie kisses Sophia's neck then her collar bone grabbing her breast with one hand and Sophia's hands grabbing Josie's ass.

Josie moans softly and Sophia loves when she moans.

"Mmm." She says enjoying Josie's lips on her body.

With that she flips Josie getting a good look at her.

"I burn for you." Sophia tells her while josie seductively bites her lip.

"Then make love to me already.. I need you." Josie says whispering it into her ear.

So Sophia makes love to her not caring who can hear them through those thin Paris walls.

In Mystic Falls at The Salvatore School, Hope is caring a box that's for Bonnie things she had asked for she knocks and then walks into the office.

"Hey." She tells her and Bonnie smiles.

"Hey, ah thank you." Bonnie says grabbing the box. "It's just a box with some of my old Grimoires and my Gram's" She tells Hope.

Hope nods.

"How's everything going are you excited about college? have you started your applications?" Bonnie asks her Hope sighs.

"I still have a couple of months, I don't want to rush into anything." She tells her.

"Yeah I get that my first semester of college I was a ghost." She tells her and Hope chuckles.

"Right I remember Elena told me and Sophia once you where like the anchor to some type of purgatory?" Hope asks and she nods.

Them they're suddenly interrupted.

It's Luna.

Bonnie's cousin, there was definitely and age deference but regardless they where pretty close to Bonnie she was almost like a daughter.

"Sorry to interrupt but a couple of students and I where doing some digging in the tunnels and I found this." Luna tells them.

It's a boxed that sealed it had the last name Petrova engraved in it.

They're all confused and none of them can open the sealed box.

"My assumption is that only a Petrova can open it." Luna says.

"Yeah I was thinking that too." Bonnie says.

"Well the only Petrova's alive are Elena, Stefanie, little Enzo, and Sophia who's not here so should we call Elena?" Hope says with her arms crossed.

Right little Enzo wasn't really little he was 10 but everyone called him that and Stefanie was 14 almost 15 they where the kids of Damon and Elena Salvatore.

Bonnie nods.

"I'll call her but I want to make sure it's safe to open before we do anything." She says walking away to call Elena.

Luna then turns to Hope.

"Me and Elias are gonna hang with the rest of the squad today after school you coming?" She asks.

But Hope had been spacing out she felt something off since she saw the box it made her think about Sophia.

A part of her wanted to call her to let her know about it but she thought it would be better to call her when they knew what it was.

It had been a year since she left to be with Josie and her and Hope would still call to check up on each other but to be fair she missed her sister.

Before Sophia had left she had stayed a bit longer to help her with her vampire powers even though Sophia was just as new like her she was a good teacher.

And she did help her..

But there where times where she had lust and a lot of it for blood.

"Hello, Hope?" Luna says and Hope comes back to earth.

"I'm sorry, uh yeah I'll be there." Hope tells her.

Luna chuckles.

"Alright, cause Elias made me ask." She says and Hope rolls her eyes playfully.

Lizzie who is fixing herself in front of the mirror in her room for the day ahead is applying lipstick on when there's a knock on the door.

She's almost sure who it is.

"Come in." She says and Mg walks in smiling.

She smiles at him.

"I'm sorry I didn't wait for you after class I came to grab some books and reapply some lipstick." Lizzie tells him and he nods.

"It's alright, because I was thinking.." Mg says walking behind her.

Planting soft kissing on her neck, Lizzie smiles.

"Mmm, what where you thinking." She says and Mg turns her and gives her a soft kiss on the lips.

"Okay yeah I totally agree with what you were thinking." Lizzie says kissing him back. 

They start to make-out but then the bell rings loudly. Both of them don't want to stop but Lizzie knows she doesn't want her mom questioning was she was late to last period.

"Ugh." Lizzie says breaking up the kiss Mg chuckles. 

"Hey, we'll make up for it later come on let's get to class." He says grabbing her by then hand and they both walk out her room.

Lizzie sadly glances at Josie's side before leaving.

It had been a year and yet she still wasn't used to the empty bed.

Her and Mg had actually gone to see Josie and Sophia during winter break they met up with them in Italy since that's where they currently where at the time.

"Josie sent me a picture the other day and I have to say we need another vacation asap she's glowing." Lizzie tells Mg.

"You're always glowing to babe." He says and Lizzie blushes.

"True, but I just I'm very tempted to get away and travel with you like her and Sophia." Lizzie tells him and he nods.

"Yeah I get that I promise you we will." Mg tells her and she smiles. 

Then they make enter their last class together which was basically a study period.

After Sophia's and Josie's morning they had gone to a small cafe that was down the street from there they staying.

They're both sitting down.

Having breakfast.

"You know I could never get tired of this, good coffee, pretty views, and a beautiful girlfriend that I get to wake up next to everyday." Josie tells Sophia  and she smiles.

"Yeah, same I really don't know how you got so lucky." Sophia says sarcastically Josie laughs.

Then gives Sophia a bite of her croissant.

"Plus amazing crossiants." Sophia tells her and Josie nods.

"Definitely beats the school ones." Josie says and Sophia chuckles.

"Which speaking off, I talked to Lizzie the other day." Josie tells her.

"How is she? I tried calling Hope but she uh.. she didn't pick up." Sophia says.

You see Hope and Sophia they where good after she left they kept in contact they would astral project keep up with one another.

But then Hope started getting distant. 

She stopped picking up Sophia's calls and Sophia started feeling guilty, guilty that while she was traveling the world with the love of her life.

Hope will was still probably grieving about Landon.

"Lizzie said she was the same going to classes, helping Bonnie hanging out with the squad." Josie tells her and Sophia nods.

Josie notices Sophia sadden expression.

So she grabs her hand softly.

"Hey, she'll call you back okay? She's your sister." Josie tells her.

Sophia turns to her.

"Uh, yeah I'm sure she will." She tells her.

Josie smiles at her and they finish eating their breakfast.

After they're done Sophia speaks up.

"I've got something for you." She tells her and Josie furrows her eyebrows.

She wonders what it could be.

"But I will give it to you later." Sophia tells her.

"Is there any special occasion?" Josie asks her Sophia shakes her head.

"Not necessarily but it's something I kinda made.. for you, you'll see." Sophia says and Josie wonders what it is.

Back at the Salvatore school, classes have already ended and the Squad is at the Old Mill hanging out.

Lizzie and Mg are sitting laying down in a hammock.

Jed is also there talking to Rose about the pack and trying to forget Ben.

Since after months of being together they decided to go their separate ways.

Hope gets there with Luna and Elias notices her and right away waves her over.

"Hi." Hope tells him and he smiles.

"Hey." He says and then Hope sits down on the couch next to him.

Luna notices and she winks at her playfully Hope only rolls her eyes.

"How were classes today? I didn't see you at lunch." Elias tells Hope.

"They where the same nothing new, and I was helping Bonnie out with some stuff." She tells him and he nods.

"Well I got to chaperone the little ones today helped Pedro and your cousin Nik with some spells." Elias tells her happily.

Elias was originally a witch but he had turned a couple years ago.

So he was pretty good with spells.

"They don't poke at you for being a vampire?" Hope asks him and he shakes his head.

"No.. not anymore at least." He says and she chuckles.

With Jed and Rose, Rose is trying to convince Jed to move on be happy single.

"I'm telling you Jed, everything happens for a reason besides now you can relax and be single." She says with a shrug.

"I guess, I just I really thought we'd last longer." Jed tells her.

"Yeah I get that but I mean there isn't anyone else on your radar I don't know maybe a childhood crush?" She says and Jed chuckles.

And he remembers Trey when she asks that and he actually wishes he know how he was at least catch up with him.

"There was my best-friend, Trey but I don't know where he is the last time I saw him was when I uh activated my werewolf gene and now I'm back to being a human." Jed says.

Rose only nods getting a certain idea.

"Who knows maybe Trey will randomly show up." She says and Jed shakes his head.

"I doubt it plus he probably doesn't even remember me." Jed says taking a sip of his beer.

For the rest of the day the remaining of the Squad continue talking and then watching a movie.

When they found the box that was locked that had the Petrova name on it.

Bonnie didn't waste no time showing it to Caroline and calling Elena about it.

"What do you think it has inside?" Caroline says picking it up and looking at it.

Bonnie shrugs.

"I honestly don't know, but if I were to assume based on our past probably something not good?" She says and Caroline sighs.

"I doubt it, it's been a good year, without monsters without any deaths and it will continue to be a good year." She says trying to stay positive.

"I really hope so." Bonnie says.

Then Elena walks in.

"I came as soon as I heard is that the box?" Elena asks and Caroline nods.

And hands it to her she looks at it.

"It's up to you on wether you want to open it or not." Bonnie tells her.

"I mean what if we open it and it starts like another apocalypse." Elena says and they both chuckle.

"I wouldn't even be surprised." Caroline says.

"Who knows about it?" Elena asks.

"Uh, only us plus Hope and Luna since she found it in the tunnels under the school." Bonnie tells her.

Which made them think they need to go down there since they kept finding people and things down there.

First the secret room that had Sophia's coffin then Sebastian who was also in the tunnels.

And now this mysterious Petrova box with who knows what inside of it.

"In my opinion there's no reason for us to open it so I say keep it close for now at least, I don't really want to risk anything." Elena tells them.

They all look at each other and nod.

It's night time in Paris already and Josie and Sophia went to a park and had a small picnic painted a little but it's already night.

And the sky looked beautiful but also a little cloudy.

"So before we leave I wanted to give you this." Sophia says grabbing something from her pocket.

"Soph.. you didn't.." Josie says but Sophia smiles.

"I know, I know it's just this past year I've been the happiest by your side but I also know that because of what we are there's danger lurking around and I don't want to risk anything risk you." Sophia says softly.

Josie furrows her eyebrows.

She shows her the gift it's a bracelet with a some charms on it, every place they have visited but one of the charms has something in it, red.

Josie assumes right away what it is.

Sophia's blood..

"Just in case for some reason I'm not there to protect you.." Sophia says and Josie swallows softly.

"I don't know what to say Sophia, other than I don't want to think about you not being by my side.." Josie tells her and Sophia caresses her face.

"Trust me love, I don't want to think about it either but like I said I don't want to risk anything especially losing you." Sophia tells her and then she puts the bracelet on Josie's hand.

"I love it.. it's perfect." Josie says genuinely Sophia smiles at her.

"I'm glad you loved it." She tells her and Josie gives her a soft smile.

They start to walk back to where they're staying but then they stop when they hear thunder.

They both look up at the sky and how beautiful the stars look.

Then they look back at each other smiling.

When suddenly rain drops start to fall softly at first but then they start to come down faster.

"Come on time to abandon the ship." Sophia says.

"No, no no wait just give it a second it'll clear up." Josie tells her happily.

They stand there but the rain doesn't stop they both laugh and then Josie pulls Sophia in for a kiss.

They're both getting soaked but all they wanted was to kiss in the rain.

They stop and Josie breathes softly, looking right at Sophia grabbing both her hands.

"Promise me this is forever." Josie tells her.

Sophia nods, looking back down at her lips and then at her.

"I promise." She says smiling and they continue the kiss.

They kiss while still holding hands, not wanting to let go.

They make it back to their apartment and after they showered and go to bed, Sophia stays up looking at the ceiling.

She had this weird feeling in her like something was going to happen some thing that she just couldn't shake off.

She grabs her phone and in Mystic Falls it's still morning.

So she debates calling Hope and eventually she does it.

The phone rings and rings and she's sure she won't pick up but then she hears her voice.

"Hello." Hope says and Sophia smiles.

She missed her sister.

"Hope, hey it's me Sophia." Sophia tells her.

It's quiet but then Hope speaks up.

"Sophia, hey what's up is everything okay?" Hope asks.

"Uh, yeah it's night over here already but I just wanted to call and see how you where how everyone was.. anything new?" Sophia asks her.

On the other line Hope debates if she should tell her about the box they found in the tunnels.

She decides to not worry her about it.

"Everything is good yeah same old same old nothing new really, everyone is just getting ready to graduate and prom since it's in like a month." Hope tells her.

Sophia chuckles.

"Right, I'm sure your very excited for prom." Sophia tells her sarcastically.

Hope chuckles.

"You know me so well." She says sarcastically then it's quiet and Hope continues.

"You should see Lizzie though she has a whole binder dedicated to prom." Hope says and Sophia laughs.

"I bet she does." Sophia says and then Josie wakes up.

"Is that Hope? Tell her I said hi." Josie says with a soft smile.

Hope heard.

"Tell Josie I say hi back and that we all uh.. we all miss you guys." Hope says.

"We miss you guys too Hope." Sophia says.

"I got to go I have a lot of homework but I'll talk to you soon Soph." Hope tells her.

"Yeah, talk to you soon." Sophia says and with that Hope clicks.

Sophia sighs softly laying back down.

It's the next day and it's another day in Paris for Sophia and Josie they had taken a bath together and did other things besides that.

Josie is still sitting inside the bathtub reading a text from Lizzie.

While Sophia with only a towel wrapped is looking at herself on the mirror brushing her hair.

She turns.

"You okay?" Sophia asks Josie.

"Yeah, I've just got this weird feeling like something bad's about to happen." Josie says with a chuckle.

Sophia sits by the bathtub.

"Well, It is we're leaving tomorrow to New Orleans which means we're trading all this all the views, the croissants, the amazing coffee but it's not too bad New Orleans is just as beautiful." Sophia says with a chuckle.

"I just hope it's nothing." Josie says and Sophia gives her a peck on the lips.

"It probably isn't." She says smiling at her.

Even though Sophia has been feeling the same way but didn't want to worry her.

After that Sophia walks away and Josie looks at her bitting her lip softly.

God she was so in love with her she thought.

In the Salvatore school Elena who helps out sometimes is walking around the school.

When she gets this weird feeling she can't explain, it had been a while since she felt that way.

And for some reason all she wants is to check up on her kids.

So she goes and sees that Stefanie is in class writing down notes, she sighs relieved.

Then she walks to the garden where Lorenzo is he's playing with his friends so she smiles.

"Everything okay?" Lizzie tells her and Elena turns.

"Yeah, yeah it's just.. it's nothing aren't you supposed to be in class?" She asks and Lizzie shrugs.

"Yes but we have a month left so I'm kinda getting lazy besides Prom is coming up and I want to focus on it." Lizzie says and Elena laughs.

"You are definitely Caroline's daughter." Elena tells her.

And Lizzie smiles.

She then notices Mg so she excuses herself to meet with him.

"I brought coffee." Bonnie then says and Elena grabs it.

"Thanks." Elena says and they both walk down the hallway.

In the Art room Hope is there painting and she's not alone Elias is also there not painting but he's there for moral support.

"I know I've told you before but you're quite talented Hope, really it looks amazing what your painting." He says and Hope smiles.

She almost even blushes.

"It's alright, I guess I felt inspired." She says and it's a painting of the lake and the dock and the sun setting.

"Yeah well when I feel inspired, I play the piano I guess we each have our own little talent." He says.

"Yeah now that you mention I still haven't heard you play it." She says and he chuckles.

Then Rose walks in.

"Hope, just the cousin I was looking for oh and hey Elias." She says Elias waves at her and Hope turns.

"Like I said before I'm your only cousin." Hope says.

"True, but I just like saying it." Rose says smiling. "Anyways, I'm going to the grill later since it's Friday night do you guys wanna tag along?" Rose says.

Elias shrugs.

"I have no plans so count me in." He says.

Then they turn to Hope.

"I don't know I have homework to do and finals are coming too." She says Rose sighs.

"Hope, nobody and I mean this nobody does homework on a Friday so be ready because you are coming!" She says and then she walks away.

Hope turns to Elias.

"Hey, you heard her." He says putting his hands up in defense.

"Fine but I promised Stefanie I would help her study so I'll go after." She says and he nods.

You see the thing about living is that one second your happy, you're in love, cherishing life making memories laughing.

That you don't see it coming, you don't see it coming when something is about to happen, something that will change everything..

It's the middle of the day in Paris and about to be night in Mystic Falls.

Sophia and Josie are walking around Paris exploring it.

At the Salvatore School Stefanie Salvatore is with her aunt Bonnie and Hope in the library.

Somewhere in Washington Seattle a guy is looking for his next prey.

When suddenly it happens.

All three of them start to randomly cough at first Sophia is confused she's a Tribrid she doesn't get sick.

So she doesn't understand why she's coughing.

"Woah, you okay?" Josie says grabbing her softly by the shoulder.

"Yeah, yeah I don't kn.." She says but before she can finish her sentence she coughs more and more  until she starts to cough up blood.

Josie expression right away turns to worried and panicked.

"Josie I can't breathe.." Sophia says still coughing.

"Oh my God" Josie says grabbing her and taking her to a alley where no one can see them.

At the school once Stefanie started coughing up Hope and Bonnie panicked too.

"What's happening?" Stefanie says coughing.

"I.. I don't know Hope go get Elena now!" Bonnie says and Hope rushes out to find her.

Same thing with the Mysterious guy he never made to his next victim because he passed out after coughing up blood.

Sophia and Josie barely make it to their apartment when Sophia falls unconscious.

Elena makes it to the library with Stefanie on Bonnie's arms unconscious.

"Bonnie? What is going on?" Elena says rushing to her daughters side.

Bonnie is shaking her head.

"We don't know everything was fine and then she just started coughing it wouldn't stop and then she started coughing up blood." Hope tells her.

Elena checks her breathing, she's still breathing but she's unconscious.

Then the Hope's phone starts to ring she looks at the caller ID.

And a wave a certain feeling hits her she knows what Josie is about say will not be good news she just feels it.

"Josie?" Hope says softly her voice a little shaky.

"Hope.. I.. I don't know what happened Sophia she, she's not okay I don't know what to do she just coughed up blood and then fell unconscious I don't know.." Josie says shaking while Sophia's body is in her arms.

"Josie hey listen I know your scared but try to relax something is definitely going on because that happened to Stefanie too so, when Sophia becomes conscious you both need to come back home." Hope says.

Josie nods.

"Okay.. yeah okay." She says her voice still shaky and then she hangs up.

A couple hours later Sophia gasps awake and Josie turns she had been packing so they could leave back to Mystic Falls.

Sophia sits up confused and Josie rushes to her side.

"God, you scared me Sophia." Josie says pulling her in for a hug.

Sophia hugs her back confused.

"Sorry, I just what happened what's going on?" She says looking at the packed bags.

Josie runs her hands through her hair.

"We're leaving back to Mystic Falls, after you fell unconscious I was so scared I called Hope and she said the exact same thing happened to Stefanie." Josie says and Sophia stands up.

"I knew it, I knew something was gonna happen." Josie says.

"I just don't understand, so it happened to Stefanie too?" Sophia asks and Josie nods.

Then Sophia nods.

"All right let's finish backing then." She says and they both grab the rest of their stuff.

Once their down they make their way to the airport ready to go back home.

When Stefanie gasps awake Damon who is there now and Elena rush to her side.

"Hey sweetie." Damon tells her hugging her.

"What, what happened dad?" Stefanie asks confused.

Damon and Elena share a look cause they don't even know what happened.

"Uh, we're not sure but we're going to figure it out okay?" Damon tells her and he gives her a soft kiss on the forehead.

Elena is shaking her head, she only had one thought since she found out it happened to Sophia too.

Damon notices.

"How's Sophia did Josie call you back?" He asks and she nods.

"Yeah, they're coming but Damon I think or I don't know I have this feeling that this happened because of the box they found in the tunnels." She says and Damon sighs.

"Makes since I mean after all these years we're good and then a mysterious box with the Petrova name pops up and not only Stefanie but Sophia who are both Petrova's start coughing up blood?" He says and Elena nods.

"The box is still locked, but I think we're doing to have to open it to figure out what's really going on." She says and Damon sits next to what grabbing her hands softly.

"Yeah, let's just wait for Sophia to get here with Josie." He says and Elena puts her head on his shoulder.

After what had happened Hope decide to do some research about it, she ended up not going to the Grill with the Squad since she was too busy worried about Sophia and Stefanie.

It was already the next day there's a knock on her door she looks at the time.

It's pretty early so she wonders who it can be.

She walks towards the door and opens it and there she is her sister standing in front of her smiling.

And God, Hope had really missed her.

"Sophia." Hope says softly.

"Hello, sister." Sophia says with a smile.

Hope is standing their frozen after a year Sophia was finally back.

"It's been a while, sister." Hope says.

Sophia chuckles nodding and they just stand there in front of the door.

"Uh? I think now is the part where you hug me?" Sophia says and Hope chuckles.

"Yeah of course." She says hugging Sophia tightly "Sorry I just can't believe you're here." Hope says.

Then they pull away from the hug.

"How are you feeling after what happened?" Hope asks and Sophia walks inside the room.

She used to share with her she notices some things have changed but not on her side of the room.

"Uh, I feel good." She says still looking around.

"I've been trying to do some re search but I haven't found anything, however the other day they found a box in the tunnels" Hope says and Sophia furrows her eyebrows.

"I'm not even surprised there's always something in the tunnels first my coffin, then Sebastian." She says with a chuckle.

"What did you guys find now?" She asks.

"A box, it's locked but it has a last name engraved in it.. Petrova." Hope says and Sophia stars to put two and two together.

"Huh, that doesn't seem good a mysterious box appears and then me and Stefanie suddenly start coughing up blood till we fall unconscious." Sophia  says and Hope nods.

"Exactly, we haven't opened it but Elena thinks maybe we should maybe we could figure out what's happening or something." Hope tells her.

Sophia nods.

"I guess so we either open it and get answers or we open it and we set off another apocalypse." Sophia says sarcastically.

"Hopefully it's just answers and not the apocalypse." Hope tells her back.

Then it's quiet and Sophia speaks up again.

"Yeah hopefully anyways, you look good it seems like you haven't aged." Sophia says sarcastically and Hope chuckles.

"Hmm, I can say the same to you." She says.

"I guess immortality is doing us good." Sophia says and then there's a soft knock.

It's Bonnie.

She walks in smiling.

"I thought I heard you what time did you and Jo get here?" Bonnie asks giving her a hug.

"A while ago, she went to wake up Lizzie." Sophia says and Bonnie nods.

"We should all get some breakfast before we discuss what's going on." Bonnie says and Sophia and Hope nod.

So that's what they do they all go get breakfast Damon, Elena, Bonnie, Caroline.

Sophia, Hope, Josie and Lizzie also joins them.

It had only been a couple minutes but when Josie sees Sophia she gets all smiley.

"Hey you." She tells Sophia softly from behind her.

Sophia turns.

"There you are God, I couldn't survive another minute without you." Sophia says sarcastically.

Josie laughs.

"I bet." She says and Sophia pulls a chair for her.

"Thank you." Josie says giving her a soft kiss on the cheek and Sophia smiles.

"Just so know, I'm never washing my face again." Sophia says sarcastically.

Hope notices there interactions and she's happy for them she even smiles because they had finally been together for over a year.

But a part of her deep deep down misses what she once had with Landon.

They all start to eat and catch up until finally when they're all down.

Caroline speaks.

"I just wanted to say that I'm really glad you're okay Sophia and I'm also happy to see both you and Josie back." She says smiling.

"Yeah I know the circumstances aren't the best after what happened but all we want to do is figure why it happened and make sure it doesn't happen again." Damon says.

They all nod.

"So we're doing it where opening the box then?" Sophia asks.

Everyone shares a look and Elena clears her throat.

"It's the only way unless we wait and then you and Stefanie start coughing up blood again." Elena says.

"It's weird because Sophia and Stefanie coughed up blood and they're both Petrova's what about Lorenzo he's fine?" Josie asks.

"He is which is why it's confusing the whole situation I mean for all we know maybe we're wrong and the box has nothing to do with that's going on." Bonnie says.

"As long as we get to the bottom of this, it's been a quiet year but with our luck I wouldn't be surprised if something is coming." Hope says.

Then Lizzie clears her throat.

"I for one want to say that maybe, just maybe Sophia and Stefanie just have the flu?" She says sarcastically.

They all see what she's doing she's trying to stay positive.

"If only that was case right, but it's never that simple not in Mystic Falls." Damon says.

"Then it's settle later tonight we'll open the box." Caroline says.

After everyone continues talking and catching up they all split up since it was still a school day.

So some people had classes to teach and other classes to be in.

Hope right away leaves to class but Lizzie catches up to Josie and Sophia.

She walks in between them.

"Hold up love birds." She says sarcastically.

Then she turns to Sophia.

"You know as my sire, I have to say that I feel quiet abandon. While you and Josie did your school work while traveling around the world I was stuck here." Lizzie says fake hurt.

"If it makes you feel better I brought you a souvenir." Sophia says and Lizzie rolls her eyes.

"And I brought you some clothes I'm sure you'll love." Josie says and Lizzie smiles.

"You really do know me." She says happily.

Then Mg appears.

"Josie, Sophia welcome back." He says happily pulling them in for a hug.

They all make it back to the twins room while Josie unpacks some stuff.

Sophia notices something and grabs it.

"You brought a panini press?" She asks and Lizzie gets excited about it.

"Lizzie asked for it." Josie says and Mg chuckles.

"I can't believe you guys are back finally we're all together again Lizzie told me about what happened you good Sophia?" He asks.

Sophia lays on Josie's bed.

"Yeah, I'm good I'm alive, I'm immortal." Sophia says with a shrug.

"She's been acting like it's not a big deal." Josie says.

"Because it's not it was probably nothing and if it is something we'll figure it out like we always do." Sophia tells her.

"Wait aren't you two supposed to be in class?" Josie asks Mg and Lizzie.

"Uh, it's our free period." Mg says.

"Right, so is there anything happening any drama?" Sophia asks with her hands behind her head.

Lizzie sighs.

"Well, Bonnie's cousin comes to the school now Luna and she brought a friend Elias who by the way is quite close to Hope."

"Yeah, everyone knows he has a huge crush on her but you know Hope and her take on relationships." Mg says.

"Interesting can't wait to meet the famous Elias." Sophia says.

"Wait are you gonna be staying with Hope while we're here?" Josie then asks Sophia.

"Yeah I figured, I'd give you some space so you can miss me." Sophia says to Josie.

"Mmm, I definitely will." Josie says scrunching her nose and Sophia gives her a soft kiss on her nose.

"Maybe I'll sneak into your bed at night." Sophia says whispering it to Josie. 

Lizzie fake gags.

"Okay me and Mg are doing to leave before we witness more of this.. lovey dovey stuff by the way remember vampire hearing Sophia." Lizzie says and Mg laughs pulling her in.

"Maybe we should go to my room and get lovey dovey too." Mg says and Lizzie smiles at him.

"Yeah I like that idea." She says and both Sophia and Josie laugh.

"Okay, get out." Josie says throwing a pillow at them playfully.

After Mg and Lizzie leave Sophia and Josie are walking around the school they had ran into Jed and Rose and caught up with them for a while.

It was nice seeing old faces and just catching up with them.

It's eventually night, and after breakfast and after a long day everyone met up again to open the Petrova box.

Elena takes a deep breath.

"All right will only a Petrova can open it, so I'll do it." She says but Sophia shakes her head.

"No, I think for safety reasons I should just in case you know." Sophia says and everyone else agrees.

Josie grabs her hand softly.

"Be careful." She tells her Sophia nods to reassure her.

She walks up to the box and sighs she grabs it and is looking at it there's some ancient symbols on it.

She sees the key that's attached to it grabs it and puts it in the lock she looks at everyone and then she unlocks it.

All she has to do now is open the box.

She does it and there's a lot of dust so she just blows it off.

"Uh, there's some I'm assuming Petrova heirlooms in here but that's all I see." She says.

Then Elena walks up to the box to see if she recognizes anything but she doesn't.

"Wait I think there's something else." Sophia says and she chants and unclogging spell and a paper appears.

It's also old and dusty.

"What does it say?" Hope asks.

Sophia unfolds the paper.

"It's old English.." She says and then Bonnie walks up to her and Sophia hands het the paper.

Bonnie clears her throat.

"Shouldn't be too hard to understand let's see." She says. "Guys I think this is a prophecy.." She says looking up at them with a scared expression.

"Ugh, please not another one." Lizzie says remembering the last one.

Then Bonnie starts to read it.

"If 't be true if three of the doppelgäng'rs blood first borns daught'rs or sons art alive at the same timeth by the timeth they're all 14 or older then those gents shalt falleth one by one, until only one is hath left breathing to continueth the legacy of the petrova's.  Th're shall beest signs yond the timeth hast cometh f'r those folk. those gents shall bleedeth the blood in their veins from their mouths. There shall be hallucinations trapping those folks in their mind until those gents but soft falleth to their death.." Bonnie says.

Elena's heart is beating fast Damon is shaking his head.

Josie swallows softly her heart also beating fast Hope looks at Sophia softly.

They're all waiting for someone anyone to speak up.

But instead Sophia walks out the room.

"This can't be happening.." Josie says softly holding back tears at the thought of Sophia dying.

But she couldn't the only thing that could kill her is the Red oak ashes.

But then again the universe was always pulling tricks.

"I'll go check on her." Hope tells everyone going after Sophia.

"Elena.. Damon.." Caroline says softly.

"I'm gonna go be with Stefanie." Elena says walking away.

"We need to start doing research I refuse to believe that Stefanie and Sophia could die all because there the oldest of the doppelgängers daughters." Damon says and Bonnie walks towards him.

"We're not gonna let anything happen to them." She says.

"Are they the only kids alive of the doppelgängers?" Lizzie asks.

"Yeah, they should be Katherine had a daughter Nadia but she died." Caroline tells her.

"I don't get it in the prophecy it says if three of the doppelgängers first borns are alive at the same time the prophecy will begin but, Enzo is only 10 so who's the third one." Damon says.

"You're right, that just means that either Nadia didn't die even though we saw it happen or either  Katherine or Amara had a kid we don't know about and they're alive." Bonnie says.

They all look at each other who was the missing Petrova?
