Took you long enough.

"You."

Athena's eyes glowed with godly energy as Kronos' slithery voice came out of Agnostos' mouth.

"Very good, Athena!" Kronos cackled. "At least there's one god that is at least a bit sensible." Athena narrowed her eyes at him.

"Of course." Hermes breathed. "Kronos. He's controlling Agnostos!" Looks of realization dawned upon Frank and Hazel's faces as they stared at him in horror.

"Took you long enough." Kronos said dryly. "Oh, you certainly have no idea who you're facing. Percy Jackson is so much closer than you think. Beware, gods of Olympus. He will be the end of all of you." Agnostos' body spasmed once before he fell to the ground.

"What in the name of my father—?!" Athena's eyes stopped glowing as she caught Agnos by the hem of his cloak.

"This is more of a grave situation than I realized." Hermes murmured.

"No crap, Sherlock." Agnostos groaned as he recovered from the fall. "I can't believe I fell on top of Athena. Ew." Athena sucked in a breath, trying her best to hold in her anger.

"Kronos is getting stronger." She said, her voice so full of sheer determination that Agnostos nearly snorted. "I must warn the Olympians about this." She flashed out without another word.

"Welp, that was interesting." Frank said sarcastically. "Anything else?"

"That wasn't helpful at all." He huffed, leaning against the stone walls weakly. "I thought gods were supposed to help us!"

"Yeah, it's kinda different with my sis Athena, so don't expect so much of her." Hermes muttered.

Agnos dragged a finger down the cracked bricks, inspecting them as if there was something important there. "We're getting closer, though. I think we can make it by tonight."

"No, you need to be stronger." Hazel insisted. "We can't rescue Percy when you're in a state like this." He sighed.

"No, really, I'm fine. Let's get going, please? I promise I won't overdo myself."

"I'm hungry." Hermes complained. Agnostos burst out laughing.

"You sound like George." Frank noted, grinning ear to ear.

"But I am!" He protested. Agnostos took out his backpack from underneath his cloak and pulled out a Hermes Express sandwich.

"Here." He tossed the sandwich to Hermes, who hungrily ripped it open and gave the meat to Marth and George. Hazel and Frank got out sandwiches of their own, plopped down on the stone and started eating as well.

"Aren't you going to eat?" Hazel asked Agnostos. He shrugged and nibbled on a piece of ambrosia from the pack.

"DON'T EAT THAT—!" Hermes lunged forward at the square but Agnostos had already eaten some of it.

"What? Was that poisoned? Hermes!" He raised an eyebrow at the dumbstruck god. "I swear, if you poisoned that, I will—"

"Monsters can't eat ambrosia. They would die." Frank whispered, staring at the golden caramel-like square in Agnos' hand.

"I would what now?"

"The food of the gods should've vaporized you by now." Hermes murmured. "You said you were a monster! You lied. You lied to all of us."

"I didn't lie." Agnostos huffed indignantly. "How was I supposed to know that ambrosia could kill monsters?"

"You didn't." Hermes narrowed his eyes at him. "You're not a monster. What are you? A demigod? A god? A TITAN?! Was that why you were able to make all those monsters disappear? Was that why—"

"Enough with the questions!" Agnostos groaned. "Or I won't lead you to Percy."

"If you're not a monster, how can you lead us to through Labyrinth?" Hazel asked quietly. He sighed.

"I—can we just not? This is just making my head hurt and I can't focus if—ACK!" A giant rumble shook the floor, pieces of rubble showering around them.

"What's happening?" Hazel cried. "What's going on?"

"Something that you have no part in, Hazel Levesque." The same raspy voice spilled out of Agnostos' mouth, but it was so loud it was barely audible. "It's time."

"Time for what?!" Frank demanded. "Time to kill monsters?"

"No." Agnostos' mouth widened into a twisted smile. "It's time for the Golden Age."

"What?!" Hermes gaped as the Labyrinth twisted and reformed around them, showing them into a large room shaped like a dome with a sarcophagus in the middle. Openings were scattered everywhere, with dracaena guards posted in front of each.

"An honor for you demigods and god to visit." Kronos' voice rumbled that seemed to come from everywhere.

"You'll never win, Kronos!" Hermes shouted. "We have Chaos on our side!" An icy laugh made everyone, monster, god, and demigod shudder.

"How pathetic." He laughed. "Chaos is nothing. We have a much powerful ally on our side of darkness."

"That sounded a bit emo, Kro." Agnostos, whose voice was now at its normal pitch but still slightly shaky, swung Sicarius in his hand like a giant pen. "Hey, that rhymes! I should totally be Apollo." Hermes stared at him. "Just kidding. Maybe."

"And who is that?" Frank asked tentatively. Kronos was silent for a few moments, as if he was thinking.

"Percy Jackson."

"...what?" Hermes said, confused. Agnostos smiled, a dark, twisted grin, and slowly pulled down his hood.

"Yep. I'm back, motherbleepers."
