No one's POV

Lunar was walking towards the house of the only two skeletons, Sans and Papyrus. She skipped a few steps and made it to the house in only a few minutes.

She has been hanging out with the skeleton brothers for a long while now, she was drawn to their silliness and well them in general. But, there was always something she felt for the shorter of the pair, something she understood quite well.

As she grew closer to the house, her nostrils were filled with the scent if something burning. She already had a good idea what might have been the cause.

Lunar lightly chuckled as she opened the front door, she quickly closed it and went over to the kitchen. There Papyrus stood looking worridely into the pot of burning spaghetti . A light laugh escaped her mouth and that caught the attention of the frantic skeleton.

"Lunar! You're here!"

Lunar walked over to him and gave him a bone crushing hug, her lips curving into a bright smile. "Yep! Oh where's Sans?".

"He's upstairs"

Lunar released from the hug and said thank you before running up the stairs. She got up and saw Sans coming out of the room in his usual attire.

"Ready to go?" Lunar nodded.

Oops, did I forget to mention they were going out? As friends of course, at least for now.

Lunar's  POV

I saw Sans and that feeling came to me again. My heart began to flutter, butterflies suddenly started swarming in my stomach, and my face flushed red.

I nodded my head in excitement, we were going over to Grilbys to hang out. He held out his bony fingers and I gladly took them. We teleported to Grilby's and sat at the bar setting at front.

Grilby, already knowing our usual orders, came straight with it.

After the food we started walking around the area and soon ended up on the snow covered ground with intertwined fingers. We were both laughing and had wide grins, I was sincerely happy and I didn't want this to end.

Sadly though, most wishes don't come true and I had to go home. Sansteleported me home and left but not before I asked him, "Same time tomorrow?".

He turned around and faced me with his usual grain that made my heart flutter, "Sure".  And with that he left.

~next day~
No one's POV

They met up once more, had fun and laughed together. Lunar having to tag along on one of Sans' jobs. Usually he'd sleep but he was very occupied.

They went over to Sans' house after a few hours, but stayed outside in the snow rather than going in. Music began playing from nowhere in particular.

Lunar held onto Sans bony hand as he twirled her, her laughing and his soft grin present of his face. They continued dancing to the music, sometimes laughing and falling only to get back up.

Sans liked hanging out with Lunar, he loved it in fact. He wanted her close, needs her, but is too scared to say it to her.

After a full on pep talk from his brother, he finally gathered courage to tell her.

They were had fallen on the snow and did not bother getting up, looking at the stars.

"Lunar?"

"Yeah"

"Are you a star?"

"Hmm?"

"Cause your out of this world"

Lunar flipped her body to look at him.

"S-sans"

"You know what the star said to space? We're in complete alignment, the same thing I'd say when we're together"

"Sans!"

"What did the earth say to the star? You're the light of my world"

"Sans!"

"Lunar, I like you. A lot"

"I-I like you too Sans"

Lunar jumped on the skeleton laying on the snow. She tackles him in a hug as she laughed with tears in her eyes, Sans had already started doing the same and they just cuddled.

Lunar's POV

He put his hand under my chin, forcing my eyes on him. He leaned in and our faces were mere cms away.

He leaned in more, closing the hap between us and we shared a kiss.

"You truly are the light in my world, Lunar~"

I blushed and smiled brightly before kissing him once more.

Bonus
Papyrus, Undyne and Alphys squealed and laughed behind a busy not far from the new found couple.

"You owe me, Undyne!" Alphys got the courage to say, seeing her OTP happen.

Alphys and Undyne made a bet earlier, Undyne saying Sans couldn't confess and was too much of a coward and Alphys standing by her ship.

Undyne groaned, Papyrus laughed and Alphys continued to fangirl over her ship.
