Adyn sighs. "Won't you sleep? If it helps, hold your stake while you're resting." I give him a bashful smile. "You noticed that, huh?" I sigh and look at the tent. It would be nice to get a few more hours of sleep.... "Okay. But if you attack me-" "Cross my heart and hope to be impaled by your stake," Adyn swears. "I'll keep an eye out. Us vampires have sharp eyes and are keen listeners too, you know." "Well in that case," I mutter sarcastically, but offer him a smile. "Thank you, Adyn."
