A diary is a childhood memory, a documentation of ups and downs on a rollercoaster called "growing up". Except, they aren't children anymore. She doesn't have anyone else to talk to, and even the neighbour's wandering cat won't bother hearing a word. He doesn't feel the need to acknowledge the mental illnesses and frustrations, in which he contains within the mask he wears daily. With forced smiles on their faces and society's large stamps of approval, these young adults hardly seem broken inside.Renee Knott and Tyler Moreau are both taking chances. Caffeine-driven diary entries and messy cursive at three a.m. is just about how much they have in common, and yet they're captivated by the thought of a friendship. The longer the silence lasts, the more the tension builds up enough to knock a latte out of their hands and spill all over their damaged hearts.Forever love isn't always the endgame, but maybe a friend could go along nicely with their pots of coffee and daily recordings.
