Anika starts going to a new school, and she doesn't know anyone there. She gets bullied and teased because of her culture. One day, she meets a friendly and loyal girl named Matilda. Anika and Matilda are great friends and the two soon fall in love. They are officially a lesbian couple. From then on, nothing but chaos surrounds them.

The Light That Consumed Me

So this is a short piece that I wrote for one of my English exams a couple years ago. It had to be inspired by a piece of poetry and so I chose the poem 'Stopping by the woods on a snowy evening' by Robert Frost. This short is told form the point of view of a little boy during WWII. 'I begged my mother to let me go out and play that day. If I only I knew what was round the bend...'It is purely fictional and any resemblance to anything is purely accidental.
