Armed with a witt as sharp as her knife Miss Jackson hunts for the answers to those questions as well as something very precious to her that's been taken.

The adventures of Miss Jackson and her friends started out as entries for writingcontests, where the Chapters "I Hate Everything about you..." and "...So Why Do I Love You?" won the "Character sculpturing" contest hosted by Skyizblue, and "welsome To The Family" was the Winner of "Sideline action", hosted by Majorsilver99.

This story will speak to your inner psycho. There's torture and violence and a fair share of blood, all served up with a twisted sense of humor.

"The Pit and the Pendulum" is a short story written by Edgar Allan Poe and first published in 1842 in the literary annual The Gift: A Christmas and New Year's Present for 1843. The story is about the torments endured by a prisoner of the Spanish Inquisition, though Poe skews historical facts. The narrator of the story describes his experience of being tortured. The story is especially effective at inspiring fear in the reader because of its heavy focus on the senses, such as sound, emphasizing its reality, unlike many of Poe's stories which are aided by the supernatural.
