The Light the Dark holds

The land of Mysari, a series of isles that has long been isolated from the rest of the world, has been plagued with war for hundreds of years and now it seems like there will be yet another war. The most powerful Drow cities, Mythae and Metasi, are both preparing to go to war not only against each other but also against the surface dwellers. Zekaer is the strongest fighter in all of Metasi and has been quite useful as a spy but even though he works with, lives with and is a Drow, he hates them more than anything meaning he can at times be difficult to control. Zekaer only has one weakness, his love for the little mischievous 12-year-old Kyla who he views as his own child and who seems to be the only light in his dark life. Zekaer's past is a mystery to all but himself but Kyla holds her own secrets. What each of them hide may hold the key to the outcome of the war and the damage that will come with it.
