Vic and Kellin are best friends, always together and they know all of each others secrets... well most of them anyway. But that all changes when the new guy joins their school, diverting Vic's attention away from his best friend. Will Kellin be able to get his best friend back, turn their friendship into something more, or will he lose Vic completely? And who will Vic choose to be with? And what happens when old "friends" make a reappearance? Why can't things just be simpler? This is my first Kellic fan fiction, so I apologize if it's terrible. And just a heads up- things may get a bit messed up and may result in your mind being a little bit conflicted. There may possibly be triggering moments as well so you have been warned!
'I know things started off badly and you probably don't see me the same way I see you. I thought maybe if I told you how I feel, things could be different. The truth is, I can't stop thinking about you. I'm crazy about you. I think you're amazing! But I know these feelings I have are wrong. It's not the way a boy should feel. Shame swallows me whole, just writing these words. My father would kill me but I can't live in his shadow forever. Randomly receiving a piece of parchment with a road-map and an "X" to mark the spot, Landry has travelled for so long that even his boots gave up. His journey brought him to Pollard's Grove, a generally unknown and quiet lumber village on the outskirts of the Wyrmwood, a densely packed forest with gargantuan trees. There, he meets a friend he hasn't seen in years, a black-haired elf by the name of Laenara who is uncharacteristically concerned as to why she summoned him. With magical threads of light, how far could the story lead beyond the Grove?-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------The story itself isn't entirely written, and it's more of a side project for me at the moment rather than a full time commitment. Regardless of how exposed it becomes here, I'm eager to finish it in the future, but I'd ideally draw feedback from this platform. I'll be trying to add minimum five hundred words a week. It's a high-fantasy story based in a world of my own creation, that is yet to have a name. It will have Tolkien-esque creatures such as typical elves, dwarves, orcs and dragons but I am also eager to create races of my own to litter the world with, and make it more original. Any feedback at all is much appreciated, if you do end up reading I hope you enjoy, and if you find something you don't like I hope you explain so it can be refined. My end goal is for a fulfilling story, but I want it to be more than a story. I want the main character, Landry, to not only grow throughout the novel but I also want him to be a role model. I don't want some edgy anti-hero (although I do plan on some) with a skewed view on life for the spotlight to be around - I want the book to have a killer story, but I also want it to impact the readers own mindset and think of the substance of their own character as well. Overall, I would love it to be a beacon of morality.
[unedited draft] Maya is not a normal she-wolf. Normal she-wolves live among their kind. Normal she-wolves are given their birthright. With many things lacking in her life Maya remains steadfast with the moon and her loved ones ,although distant, to guide her. Unexpectedly, she is granted the opportunity to be claimed. A practice in which she is to be chosen at The Gathering as a mate to a fellow male wolf.Though the circumstances of her exile remain a mystery, Maya is given a chance to prove and reflect on what her life has become and maybe the implications of her apparent betrayal are as much a mystery as her mate, Beta Gideon. cover by @abditiveRankings:#4 - shewolf
Welcome to Stoneycove, Kansas; Population 87,000 and 3 million secrets. Children grow up in this mid-size town dreaming about the day when they can get out. Some do, some don’t. But no matter what, it always seems to draw them back in. The closer to home they get, the more the memories come flooding back, even the ones that they would prefer to stay buried. Stoneycove is a story about a group of friends from high school, who have grown up and lost touch with each other. After a tragic accident leaves one of them without their memory, the gang re-assembles to try to help her discover the memories that she can’t call to the surface. I have included links to songs on some of chapters because if it were a TV show instead of a book, those are the songs that I would imagine playing in the background during those scenes. Also, the main theme for it would be "Pictures of You" by The Last Goodnight.***Warning*** This story contains alcohol and drug use and abuse, sexual content and mild language. Read with your own discretion. Please feel free to leave any questions/comments/concerns below. I would really like to know what you think.
