The Lion King (1994)

The Lion King is a 1994 American animated musical drama film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation and released by Walt Disney Pictures. It is the 32nd Disney animated feature film, and the fifth animated film produced during a period known as the Disney Renaissance. The Lion King was directed by Roger Allers and Rob Minkoff, produced by Don Hahn, and has a screenplay credited to Irene Mecchi, Jonathan Roberts, and Linda Woolverton. Its original songs were written by composer Elton John and lyricist Tim Rice, with a score by Hans Zimmer. The story takes place in a kingdom of lions in Africa and was influenced by the Biblical stories of Joseph and Moses, and William Shakespeare's Hamlet.The Lion King tells the story of Simba (Swahili for lion), a young lion who is to succeed his father, Mufasa, as King of the Pride Lands; however, after Simba's paternal uncle Scar murders Mufasa, Simba is manipulated into thinking he was responsible and flees into exile. After growing up in the company of the carefree outcasts Timon and Pumbaa, Simba receives valuable perspective from his childhood friend, Nala, and his shaman, Rafiki, before returning to challenge Scar to end his tyranny and take his place in the Circle of Life as the rightful King.

Emotionless

But after a revelation to the truth of the city, she is kidnapped by a drop dead gorgeous assailant who takes her to the rebel quarters. There she is exposed to emotions that she has never felt before in the city of Imertia. Happiness, Joy. But as the clock is ticking to her inauguration what will Pam Jones do? Will she put the city on the right path to prosperity and success or will she plunge it further into purgatory? Will she uncover the dirty secrets of the city which have been hidden by the council for so long? Secrets which could lead to the extinction of humankind? The future of the entire city rests entirely in her hands. This book is 225 pages and is a YA Dystopia Romance novel. I hope you enjoy it!

Red Sky

Zaz, or Zailey, is a beautiful raven head princess with a dazzling blue dress, chosen for her by herself (against her father's will). She has been trapped in her father's castle (as she likes to call it), living by his rules with no sight of freedom, from when she was just a little girl and has never seen the joys of the real world. Her father does it to keep her safe, or that is what he likes to tell her. She has her doubts and suspicions for her father, but keeps them to herself. "It's almost like he's trying to hide something..." You would think a curious princess like herself would at least try to escape her figurative prison cell to get a glimpse of the outside world, right? Zaz, however, couldn't care less. She does wonder about how it would feel, and daydreams about escaping quite often. That's just how far she'll go, to wishing for it to happen without any effort from her side! ...Huh, quite lazy. But, that's exactly how it goes! Behind her, a mysterious figure, suddenly, appears to help her find her way out, to the truth that has been kept hidden from the light. She does get quite a startle, it was too unreal to happen just like that! Keeping all common sense aside, she's more than happy to oblige with it to an exciting adventure. Unusual events take place, which change her perspective of everything. She notices things she hadn't paid heed to before.. her eyes have been opened to the heart-breaking reality she had always been afraid of. "Father..?"
