What happens when a half demon girl afflicted with nightmares, heir to the throne of the third realm of Hell, catches feelings for a fallen angel soldier, whose sole purpose is to hunt down and kill monsters such as herself?Ashton is plagued by nightmares. She's cursed. With a simple touch she can see your fears. It proved to be quite lucrative under mother's manipulated hands until the bodies started piling up and whispers of her name traveled through the streets. Those whispers reached far and wide, catching unwanted attention.Seeking asylum at Mysteria Manor, a home for cursed girls, Ashton is kept hidden away hoping that those looking for her will lose interest. She doesn't know much about them besides, one is a demon that's obsessed with her and wants to bring her to Hell. The other is The Order, a bunch of well trained soldiers that hunt and kill people like her.Dreams don't come true for girls like Ashton. She's thinks she's been found by the lesser of two evils, that her horrid life can finally come to an end. But The Order doesn't want to kill her. They want to use her. And by any means necessary, she will lead them to the demon they seek out. Her father. Working for the people that want her dead is one thing, but falling for the soldier that brought her here is something else entirely.Carden is rude and cold, blames her for everything that goes wrong, but continues to save her on multiple occasions. And second of all, I have a corporation to run, a reputation to uphold and too much money to make, so I refuse to waste that all for the sake of fulfilling my only wish and ending your life. My life is too important to be spent in jail for killing you anyways." β’Β°β’Β°β’°°β’Β°β’Β°β’ Katherine Harrington: 22 years old, financially stable, a recent university graduate, fun but assertive. Riddian Remora: 26 years old, much better off than most financially, heir to majority of his family's business, hubristic but unsociable. Katherine and Riddian are practically from different worlds, so when they meet in the worst situation ever, it is really no surprise that the two can't stand each other. After going on a trip that was suppose to be fun and relaxing to one more than the other, the two leave hating each other and promise that they would never cross each other's paths ever again. They seem to realize that fate has different plans a little too late as they meet again when Katherine gets herself trapped in a situation that only seems to work to Riddian's advantage. She makes it her goal to either get herself out of the hole she had dug for herself, or pull the rotten bastard in as well, but it is during that process that Katherine begins to realize what exactly the after effects of her actions on the cursed trip on which they had met, were. Obstacles come along and slowly Katherine starts to put the Riddian Remora puzzle pieces together. What dark secrets will she uncover, and will another after effect of their first meeting be that their thoughts on each other will change as well? Find out in: After Effects
