Update
One day, Akira is approached by a member of a secret organization called the Spirit Keepers, who are tasked with protecting the balance between the mortal and spirit worlds. The Spirit Keepers have been watching Akira and believe that she has the potential to become one of their own.
Despite her initial reluctance, Akira is drawn to the idea of learning more about her powers and her heritage, and she decides to join the Spirit Keepers. She is assigned to a wise old mentor named Amaya, who begins to train her in the ways of the Spirit Keepers and the use of her powers.
As Akira becomes more involved with the Spirit Keepers and the spirit world, she begins to uncover secrets about her past and the true nature of her powers. She also realizes that there are powerful forces at work that seek to use her abilities for their own gain, and she must learn to navigate dangerous political intrigue and confront powerful enemies.
Fortunately, Akira is not alone in her journey. She is aided by a diverse group of allies, including Kaida, a sarcastic half-human half-spirit hybrid with a troubled past, and Yui, a kind-hearted demon prince with a sense of honor and duty. Together, they face challenges and confront their own personal demons as they fight to protect the spirit world and maintain the balance between the two realms.
As Akira and her allies journey together, they come to understand the true nature of their powers and their place in the world, and they form unbreakable bonds of friendship and loyalty. Together, they stand against the forces of darkness and protect those they love, even at great personal cost.

Meet Nefertari Amara Ife Yar'Adua. She is a 24 year old law student in her second year at Harvard Law School. She is a social and civil rights activist in the making. It all started when her father was wrongfully executed when she was 12 years old. Ever since then, she has hated white people and the judicial system. That's why she's in law school, so she can make a difference. She hates police officers the most. If it weren't for them, her father would still be here and so would her brother and cousin (but we'll get into that in the story). Needless to say, she is an Afrocentric Queen who relies on no one, especially not WHITE POLICE OFFICERS, to do anything for her. They obviously can't do their job right, according to everything she's been through. Oh! Meet Christian Marcello Nazario. He's a police officer. He believes in Civil Rights as much as the next Black person. And he's really into Nefertari (once he meets her and all). There's just one little problem...... He's white.
