Introducing some not so popular but must attained festivals

Monsoon is already arrived, rains, waves and beautiful weather out of your office calling you "Hey dear let the rain droplets washout your worries, take a ride on waves and start celebrating festivals of monsoon."
This festivals celebrates in India, though some of you will introduced to these for the very first time.

1. Sao Joao Feast of St John the Baptist
Sao Joao is the most popular festival in Goa, this is the feast of St John the Baptist. Celebrated every year on June 24 particularly in Siolim, north Goa. The best way to start your monsoon festival is with Sao Joao. The very interesting part of the festival is, the villagers throw gifts in the well and young men jump into the well to pick a gift. Also, you can enjoy the colorful boat race.

2. Yuru Kabgyat
If you have ever made a plan to visit Ladakh and could not make it yet. So, now this is the high time to not missed the plan. Yuru Kabgyat is two days festival celebrates in Ladakh from June 29 to June 30. This is an essential event for the followers of Buddhism.
The festival is dedicated to Yama (God of Death) and Padmasambhava (Second Buddha and Protector of Creatures and Stallions).
The festival celebrated at oldest monastery of the region, Lamayuru Monastery.Sacred mask dances and other rituals, monks play cymbals, drums and wind instruments.




3. Dree Festival
Before I introduced this festival, I would like to put a question. "When you watch, read news Or any message related farmers issues and problems, what you feel? Pain Or Sad Or Anger Or don't bother?
You might can resolve or not their problem. But you can be part of their life from 4-7 July by taking part in an agricultural festival, called 'Dree'. The festival celebrates by Apatani tribes at tranquil pine clad valley called ziro in Arunachal Pradesh.
In this festival you will experience traditional dances, folk songs and other cultural performances.
