After the race, Jose was a mess. Third was a sign of failure, as her mother had always said.
After the race, Jacques was worse. He had failed Jose, worse then the incident of 2012. He had landed them in third, which in his opinion, was worse then getting stabbed by a knife.
The two were broken, and nobody was there to fix them.
"Jose, we still have the after party to go to, do you wanna go?"
If they had nobody, then they would do it themselves.
