Under constant watch and scrutiny from the Guild, Claire now finds herself working side by side with a Black, the very family that was breed to become mage assassins, killing thousands of her people. The fact that the Black is also a handsome man does not help Claire's case at all.Raven has nothing to do with his family and yet is hostile to Claire upon finding out she's a mage. He worked as a detective to make sure everyone had equal justice but when he got his new partner Claire his world is thrown upside down. Not only is she a mage whom he silently despises but she's also the most beautiful woman he's ever laid eyes on. As they work together and find a rocky truce between themselves they travel the city solving crimes with a magical association. Raven accepts Claire without cause while Claire lays her life down for the man who stole her heart. As they fall for one another a dark figure lerks in the shadows, plotting something sinister for our mage Claire. Could this dark figure perhaps have something to do with Claire's unclear past? Can Raven, a Black, somehow save this woman before she's taken from him forever?

This is a collection of short stories and poems written by someone with BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder), BD2 (Bipolar Disorder type 2), Severe depression, PTSD (Post-traumatic stress disorder), Schizophrenia, and anxiety. I've also experienced drug-induced psychosis. I wrote this book because I remember when I first received my diagnosis and was sent to a psychiatric hospital, I felt so alone and like no one understood. Especially as a teenager with mental illness in today's world. I'm hoping this can bring hope to others going through mental illness. Please give me feedback so I can become a better writer.
