I lay in a bed, my eyes closed, enjoying the moment. I'm so comfortable and I know for sure that I never want to leave this place. I've never been so comfortable in my life. Oh maybe when-
I think but am interrupted by a sound I haven't noticed before. A soft beeping that is getting louder and louder. There's something else as well. A dull pain in my chest. I open my eyes to see that I'm lying in a hospital room. What happened?
"Finally! You're awake."
I look to the door to see a tall man in his forties in an expensive looking suit heading in the direction of my bed.
"Ehm, I'm sorry. Who are you?" I ask, confused. I've never seen this man before.
"Oh. So it's true. The chances were small..." He replies more to himself than to me, but it doesn't take me long to understand what's going on.
"I'm Alfa. Your boss. Do you know who you are?" He asks carefully as if not to hurt me.
"No. I don't. I don't remember." I reply calmly - because despite everything that's the only thing I feel.

I had so many ideas for a story, but never really thought it through - and when I did I somehow got tired of it. But I feel that this one could be IT. My first ever written story.
