At the last step she jumps, flinging herself into the water. Frantically she scrapes at her skin to get their scents off, but knowing she can't be caught de-scenting she starting swimming down stream. Better to be caught running than them thinking you have something to hide.

Sinopse Quanto mais fundo, mais escuro e frio ficava, os troncos das árvores eram finos e seus galhos sem folhas pelo outono, fazendo com que o chão ficasse coberto por elas o deixando em um tom de vermelho e laranja o que a deixava mais bela, o frio torava-se imperceptível em meio a sua beleza, diziam que a floresta era assustadora e horrível, mas eu não via nada disso, pelo contrário eu apena conseguia ver beleza ela era adorável... bom, até escuta-lo uivar, tão alto que o som ecoou por toda a floresta, por um simples som meu coração batia cada vez mais rápido, minha respiração começou a ficar rápida o medo me atingiu meu corpo deixando-me apavorada, mais um uivo só que dessa vez mais perto, uma parte de mim queria correr para o mais longe possível, mas outra parte pedia para eu ficar, devem estar pensando "ela escolheu a primeira opção, e o mais certo a se fazer." Infelizmente meu caro leitor você está errado, eu continuei ali, sem mexer um musculo se quer, ele estava tão próximo que podia ouvir seus passos, eu estava com muito medo, mas simplesmente sumiu após ver aquele par de olhos dourados como uma tarde em seu pôr do sol, ele se aproximou mais um pouco o deixando o totalmente a amostra aos meus olhos, um lobo de pelos negros com mais o menos dois metros de altura e um maravilhoso para de olhos dourados que demonstravam um olhar carinhoso, alguma coisa me dizia que eu podia confiar nele e ao seu lado estaria segura, sim meu caro leitor você leu muito bem eu escrevi "segura" agora vocês devem estar achando que eu sou louca por me sentir segura ao lado de um lobo com dois metros de altura que poderia me matar em um piscar de olhos se quisesse. Um sentimento novo estava sendo criado dentro de mim que jamais sentira antes, novas descobertas estavam por vir, segredos se revelariam, mentiras serão desmascaradas, mistérios seriam desvendados e que me ajudaria a descobrir tudo isso seria um lobo dos olhos dourados.
