Tittle of story:- ESCAPE. "I didn't care how low it could get, the waviness of that familiar feeling, the one I feel when I want everything to end, when I feel like dying is a safe place to escape. But this time... it came in a millionfold. My mind became as cloudy and empty as ever, overwhelmed by a mix of emptiness and sudden sadness. In that moment, I didn't care even though someone I can fall in love with at first sight was next to me. I simply stared, hanging my head in the air, taking what felt like an eternity to blink. I cared less about what he might think, whether he believed I was lost in his beauty or if he could see right through me and know that I had hit rock bottom, the lowest I had ever felt. His hands moved slowly to my face, his eyes calm and reassuring, as if he knew it all, as if he had the cure for how I felt. I couldn't help but let him in as his soft lips kissed mine. At first, it was sudden, but just when I thought of pushing him away, his lips on mine felt like heaven. It felt so unreal, as if he was sucking my sorrow away and replacing it with butterflies. I couldn't think of anything else but to have him right there, and I wanted him to have all of me too. Maybe, just maybe, I could feel alive again.

I wanted to say because unlike you, they recognized who I am. But I kept my mouth shut in fear of aggravating his anger. His voice took a lot gentler tone, I imagined he must've realized how upset I was and felt bad about it.I said nothing.When we're done, I rose up to my feet, couldn't wait to get out of this room. This man was so impolite to me that I couldn't wait to get away from him."I apologize, your highness. I didn't mean to distract you in your private office." I stepped back getting ready to leave when a sliver of sunlight struck highlighting my face. "Wait!" He murmured and I turned back to look at him."You're beautiful."
