Please enjoy your stay at Jaberwock Island! An elite high school named Hope's Peak Academy is a school like none other. Unlike most schools where one might apply or take a test to attend, at Hope's Peak - they come to you. Well, if you meet certain expectations. They pick a select few with a skill that beats out all the rest. The only students accepted are the Super High School Level Talents of the world. Each individual must be a specialist in their own respected field to be asked to attend this school. This one exception of this is the lucky student picked from the raffle each year, given the title of Super High School Level Luckster. To receive an invitation to this school will lead any student on the perfect career path. You'd be a fool to turn down an opportunity to get into this school if you were given the chance.
Last school year started off like any other. A class of twenty freshmen enter the academy for the first day of class, but they find themselves blacking out the minute they walk into the lobby of the school. When they awake in the classroom 1A, they notice some bizarre occurrences. One, they can't remember how they got into the classroom and seated at a desk. Two, the windows are covered with iron plates that will not come off no matter what. Third, there is a security camera installed watching over them.
A killing game began, hosted by a robot named Monokuma. Eleven of the twenty students did not survive. The headmaster's daughter, Aizawa Sayuri came forward as the mastermind and was executed before the survivors. The nine who made it to the end were free to go out and start new lives, conquering despair of the outside world.
However, their story is not over.
