In The Middle of It All

I close my mouth and roll my eyes. "Just don't make that my new nickname because that is way to cliche, and we'll be good."
"Whatever you say, bi-"
I kick him in the shin before he can say it. "I'm warning you, if you make me a nickname, you're just going to step three in a cliche love story. And trust me, once this punishment is over, I am never going to talk to you again."
Jordan smiles a little, his hazel eyes glinting in the wax-colored light. "Wanna bet?"
"No thank you, that's also a cliche move. Trust me, I've read my fair share of romance books. You can't trick me into falling down that road."
His flirty eyes and demeanor drops at that and he grumbles under his breath, something about me making his job so much harder.



Meet Rachel, an outcast at school, and Jordan, the school's it boy who loves to give a good cliche romance story to a girl. Somehow, they end up being stuck together in community service when they learn a nugget of information from a man whose days are numbered: there will always be peace in the eye of the storm, the center, the middle. Thus, they get an assignment to fill their nights in doing things they've always wanted to do, to satisfy all those little desires they've had from years ago. Watch as they struggle through everything from family issues, to jealous ex-boyfriends to Rachel struggling from experiencing a love story at all, much less a cliche one. No matter how tense things get however, they always find peace in the middle.

This is a really crappy synopsis, but maybe give this story a go?
