He gives me a final glance, letting me know he is here for me, as he runs off to where the first of the bullet shots were heard.

Ominous Arcane, a name that sent shivers down any sane mind, is now on its way to execute their largest terrorist attack on Scarlet Academy of the Sciences and Arts. But the problem is, no one knows of their sinister plans except for the CIA, who now has to find a way to protect the college without letting any information leak out to the public. Deciding to give the job to the best of their agents, Glindell and Blake set off as agents under disguise to keep a close eye on the college. However, in order to complete this mission successfully, both agents must operate as secretly as possible, leaving them with no other option than to hide their identities from each other.

Yeeeaah, the cover has nothing to do with the story, sorry about that (I currently am unable to make a thumbnail for it, I might change it if I get the chance).A small scene based on a partially finished storyline involving mercenaries, death, and an out-of-place philosophical discussion.Personally, I think the beginning could have worked out better, it seems less situational than it ought to be. Also, the ending somewhat adopts a different tone than the rest of the passage, namely with the sudden examination of divinity and morality, which isn't the best, although it ends it on the right note, I think- 7/10 from me, not my best, but much better than my worstI'd really appreciate feedback, no matter how brutal.:)I was a bit unsure as of whether to rate this as mature or not, but I don't think it's necessary.
