Amos University is a prestigious institute with a thousand years of history. Mage families send their sons to Amos to learn their craft, make connections with other families, and prepare for their future.Mixing magic and young men promises that no one year is boring. Club rivalries, hazing, and missed assignments can become a matter of life and death. But underneath it all there are predictable variables, controls placed over the students to prevent certain apocalyptic type events from happening. There are natural laws to magic which no mage can change or cross.Such as: all mages are male. In body or soul, every mage is male. Until Naena. A bastard from the Western Cape, Naena has spent the previous three years living on the streets. She is uneducated and lacking in certain social niceties. Her mother was once a maid to a mage family, learning a coded language as a young mage in the house did, but nothing else is known about the woman except her name. The men who find Naena are determined to keep her alive long enough to find out what her appearance means. The students are both wary and intrigued. While the faculty are forced to take on the first female mage in the history of the world, nothing says they need to help her with her studies. Or to stay alive.

"Curiosity killed the kitty Miss Adams." My body stiffened. Slowly I turned around just to see Mr. Parker standing in front of me with hands in his trouser pockets. I bit my lip. I thought he would be angry but when I looked at him. His face showed no emotion. He then started walking towards me I moved back. This continued until my back hit the door. Then he placed his one hand on my side, leaning forward, close to me."What was rule number three Miss Adams." His face was extremely close to mine my breath got hitched. I couldn't answer his question why? Because I was more focused in the distance between us."I asked you something Miss Adams." He said again."T-That t-there a-are prohibited areas i-in the house where I shouldn't g-go.""It seems like you remember the rules. This room is one of those prohibited areas. So, from next time think before you put yourself into trouble."I just stared at his eyes. I was lost in those pair of sea-coloured eyes. No other guy has ever affected me this much as Mr. Parker. I get nervous around him. I don't know what this feeling is but this feeling is different. A feeling that I have never felt for anyone."Understood?" he said again.I nodded. "Yes Mr. Parker."*****************Liam Parker, 25 year old billionaire. Arrogant, handsome, ruthless, the only thing matters to him is his son and his work.Bella Adams, 24 year old simple and bubbly girl, who lives with her Nanny in an orphanage. [Updates at least once a month.]Keith and Pico were close friends as children, that is, until Keith ended up moving out after the third grade. Coming back a few years later, he finds that Pico seems to be a whole new person- unable to look him in the eye, constantly carrying a gun, and a huge scowl dominating his face. Though Keith knows of an incident happening at their school after he moved away, he doesn't know the full details- and after pushing a little too far to get an explanation out of his childhood friend, he and Pico have a falling out. A year or so later, the two of them meet again when Keith challenges him to a rap battle, and after seeing the terror in Pico's eyes from the sounds of a thunderstorm, Keith realizes there's more to his old friend than he knows. As Keith is desperate to help Pico heal, and Pico is equally as determined to push him away, the two of them begin to rekindle their friendship- and maybe, after Pico opens up to someone for the first time in a long time, even something more.[hey guys! this is my first fanfic on here so it might update kind of erratically, i also only joined the fandom recently and though i know about the events of pico's school, i'm not perfect so i might mess some things up. this isn't an au by the way, just my take on their past relationship, as i prefer them to be past friends who had a falling out rather than exes. basically Pico acts differently after the trauma he went through at his school, and Keith doesn't know that there's more to his old friend than just a frown. aka- Cherry (gf) and Keith are exes turned best friends having fun rap battling, and take Pico into their group. there will be explanations for the actions of Cherry's parents and all that jazz, it's just not explained in this description]

In a far away land, lived a princess, who fit in nowhere. Entwined in two fates, one full of roses and the other full of thorns. One choice - Hers.
