A Tale of Dragons

"This is the tale of the Last Battle. Many people have given it many names, but the only name that truly matters is this one. The few of us who remember call it the Last, for it was the end. The end of everything our people stood for. It was the last battle we fought, and the only one that truly mattered." This is a short story I wrote during my microbiology class, when I was probably supposed to be paying attention. Instead, I started considering what it would be like if amazon warrior type women had dragons. This was probably in part inspired by HTTYD, with some warriors having smaller dragons that sit on their shoulders and defend them in battle, and others having larger ones that they ride. Honestly, I might turn it into something longer in the future, but for now it's just this little stand alone.
