PrologueSivaangi gasped softly, her eyes widened in appreciation as she looked at the mannequin draped in an elegant piece of clothing. This has got to be one of the finest dresses she has come across in recent times! And to think she found this in a town! She frowned when she saw someone stepping in from behind the mannequin, her eyes taking in the male footwear and then eying up.To say she was bewitched would be an understatement as her eyes looked up to meet the man dressed in a dark blue lungi and an orange shirt; a measuring tape wounded around his neck, his trimmed-beard, a sharp handsome face and his eyes, oh his warm brown eyes! He was tall and fit, she noted, and he looked dashing despite his humble clothing.His forehead was adorned with a frown but Sivaangi couldn't care much for she was lost in the man in front of her, too distracted to make sense of the situation."Yaaru neenga? Inga yenna panringa?" His voice was warm, sending shivers down her spine as Sivaangi met with his brown orbs.(Who are you? What are you doing here?)"A-aad-aadhu va-" Sivaangi stammered trying to get a grip of herself.(Th-tha-that-)God! She was embarrassed! And he is looking right at her, expecting an answer.Before Sivaangi could open her mouth and ridicule herself, they heard a woman calling him from outside,"Ashwin-nu! Irukiya pa?"(Are you there?)His eyes flickered outside before looking right back at her as he yelled, "Idho, varen Maa"(Coming) Giving her a pointed look, he stepped outside while she stood rooted, her eyes following him as her lips tasted his name,"Ashwin"~ * ~This is a Tanglish Ashaangi book but general readers also can read. "You told them you love me ,huh?"He asks with a raised eyebrows, jaw hardened and eyes narrowed at the shy girl he has hated all his life.She was afraid of his tone,he didn't looked happy with her confession.Was her love going to be unrequited one?"I fuck*** asked you something Ezra! Answer me!"His tone made her gulp,his grip on her arm made her flinch in fear."Yes"She finally answered looking into his emotionless eyes.Smirking he laughed at her confession,not believing her."Ezra,do you even know what love is,Oh I almost forgot you are an Orphan,how would you know?"His words were sharp as knife, piercing her healed wounds.She fisted her hands, trying to control her tears.He sighed in frustration running his hand through his hair."Now mom will not stop till she has made you her daughter in law! Fu**! Why you!"He said ,pacing the room .Oblivion to the tears ,she tried her best to hide.He didn't love her.He never did, she was a fool to even think that he for once did.Hate is all he had for her and those who said hate is the beginning of love,were fools mocking her right now.Gathering the little pride left in her she answers back in a quivering voice."Yes,I love you. But I don't want anything from you."She says and he stares.Confused at her weird confession.Who says that ?"Nothing you say? Are you playing some brain games girl?"She lowers her eyes and leaves but not before whispering the words that made him feel something after a very long time."Love is not something to learn ,but to feel Aaron. And I know what I feel. You may name it infatuation and lust,but I proudly call it my selfless love"....................................................................

"I'm tired." I whisper, my voice breaking. "I can't do this anymore. It's too much."He pulls me closer and holds me as he always does. "You're a strong girl. People look up to you, Mina. You'll get through this, okay? You're not alone. You're a beautiful girl and you have us." I shake my head. "If ever I am, I'm just another pretty girl that's broken inside." He holds me tighter and I feel his chin resting on my head as I break down in his arms. "Well, I guess you're beautifully broken then." I sob, my body heaving at the pain, wondering how he always sees beauty in an ugly broken girl.***Just a little warning.
