There are some things in life that happen that nobody saw coming. Kyla Roberts and Blake Green can attest to that.

Kyla's life was changed in more than one way when her parents were killed in a car accident over Christmas Break. They were on their way to a new home, a new life even, but Kyla never had the opportunity to live it with them.

Instead she was saved by a dark haired boy named Blake. Kyla knows he has his own secrets and his own past that still haunts him, but she can't help but let him in to her life simply because she has nobody left.

Together they work through their troubled circumstances. Together they learn how to open up and trust each other so much it is inevitable one of them will get hurt. There are so many secrets and so many misunderstandings that stand in their way, but they can't help but feel the bond between them.

They can't help but focus on that bright future that lies in front of them, if only they can get there.
