"Not again!" Oliver rammed his fist into the concrete of his cell. His knuckles blistered and ached, but he didn't care. Again, he cold not remember why he was there, or where he had come from.
He also didn't know why he wasn't dead yet. He knew every single time he had been convicted and every single death penalty he had been assigned, and yet the death part never seemed to arrive.
"Immortal" whispered at the back of his mind.
No. He refused it. It was impossible. And yet, given his current situation...

When Oliver's angel parents are given a second chance at heaven after their betrayal of God, God only has one request. That their son Oliver's heart be removed from him. Oliver is a fallen angel that has enough wrath in his heart to potentially end the world, and, as the prophecy goes, with his heart removed from him he will no longer remember his wrath.
