Angels, also known as Bird. Their large silky, feathery wings and bright shining halos, representing their sense of justice and peace.
Devils, also known as Bat. Leathery scales, sharp horns, and piercing eyes reflect their dark and evil past and future.
Long ago, these species have been separated by the holy Deities to avoid conflict. However, not all Angels are good; not all Devils are bad.
Carcadia became the first city to unite both Bird and Bat. Seeing that war has not taken place in generations, the Gods have blessed both species with this magic city.
Despite the union, tension still lurks between both species. Angels still live high in the clouds in the Angel Kingdom, while Devils remain below ground in Hell.
But even with some segregation, there is one rule that everyone must follow:
NEVER have offspring with the opposite species.
Why? Why can't an Angel marry a Devil or vice versa?
Kurai, the God of Death, feared that if Angels and Devils have mixed children, power would become too great.
However, there are thousands out there who have broken that rule. And no one knows that these children exist.
I am one of these children.

Young Shiji has always lived life in a peaceful manner. With her mother as a candidate for the Angel throne, she looks forward to the upcoming responsibilites of claiming the title of "Princess."
Suddenly, one night, a mysterious figure appears in a royal party. This mysterious person, however, is no Angel or Devil.
Shiji then makes a discovery that a group of outcasts, all mixed blood, are hiding out within the dark corners of Carcadia. With a heavy heart, she makes it her job to help them into the light.
But that can't happen without a few mishaps along the way.
