A Kyoka Jiro x reader fanfic The love story between two people; one a music loving girl with beautiful dark purple hair. The other being a Tired™, quiet person with an interesting group of friends. Kyoka Jiro and (Y/n) Togata, the younger sibling of the shining sun of the Big Three, one of UA's top students. (Y/n) is the exact opposite of their brother. He's always full of energy, can make friends with almost anyone, and has years of experience with his quirk. They, on the other hand, have insomnia, are mildly anti-social, and don't have as much experience as they'd like with their quirk. Despite their differences, this pair of siblings are as close as they can be. Being the younger sibling of Mirio, (Y/n) is friends the Big Three, knows the pros at Sir Nighteye's agency, has connections because of their family, and always has their older brother to lend a helping hand when they need it. In this story, Mirio and (Y/n)'s mom was a pro hero who died on the job when (Y/n) was 4. The reader is now 15 at the beginning of the school year. This is my first time writing anything like this, so sorry in advance lol. I use gender neutral pronouns (they/them) for the reader, so that they can apply to anyone! I've only seen the anime, not read the manga, so that may affect the story. A/n from the ~future~ The author has realized that they consistently spelled broccoli wrong, and is too lazy to fix all the times that they misspelled the word, so they're saying that it was "intentional" and they're not going to change it.Another A/n, The author's been losing motivation for this story, as well as many others, so that will affect their nonexistent updating schedule. Additionally, school has started up again, and they've been swamped with homework, which has added a lot of stress to their busy mind. Sorry!

I was flying.
I was flying. I felt the wind push against my body, pulling me back. I saw the sun, it's fluorescent colors, bright as they shine in my face. I tasted freedom for the very first time. The feeling of joy and eagerness swam inside and out and filled my blood. My wings grew bigger and stronger as night came. It was as it the world was looking at me and smiling again. I was finally alive. Nothing could over power the justice I had that day, that moment. I was brand new, I've always seen things differently, but in that moment it was something anyone could see and feel the same things I did. Life was internal. Love was unimaginable. And laughter caused pain, and pain caused true existence. In that moment I hoped everything would change, although I knew it wouldn't. I will always remember those fragments of freedom. Those small instinct feelings would forever create a scar. The wind finally slowed down, as I drifted off. I knew it soon would be over, but all I could say was, "I was flying."

The slow methodic thud of horse hooves hitting the sand, lulled me side to side, as we walked through the endless desert hills.The blistering sun hung overhead, a constant reminder of how dry my mouth was. Every painful swallow was like trying to swallow a mouthful of cotton.My head swam, fatigue overtaking me as I suddenly pitched forward. Landing heavily in the sand. The grains were rough between my fingertips as I faded in and out of consciousness.The echoing cry of a vulture, piercing my ears as it flew overhead.A dark shadow swimming into my view as my eyes finally closed. "Please," I trailed off my words sounding foreign to my own ears. Let my death be painless....I fell to my knees, the breath long gone from my lungs as my throat constricted. My resolve fading as I stared at the still body in front of me.Disbelief matching the tears that rolled down my cheeks.And suddenly as I knelt in the sand, all of a sudden I felt tired... Like the world had drained me for everything I had.It was no longer worth living.
