Il faut pouvoir supporter les symptômes et les effets secondaires des traitements. La vie privée et la vie professionnelle du malade peuvent s'envoler en fumée. Basedow, c'est une descente en enfer. C'est un combat au quotidien. C'est ma maladie, c'est celle de Chloé. Et c'est celle de nombreux papillons. J'espère qu'en lisant ce roman, ils se reconnaîtront un peu dans le personnage principal de l'histoire.

Some days, he just does classwork on his computer and holds her hand....but his presence is appreciated, even though Kayla does not always have the ability to express so. Remington, as well as Kayla's family, must cope with the fact that their time with their loved one is limited. Death stalks Kayla like a predator watching its prey....it is simply creeping closer and closer waiting for the chance to strike. Death has struck Kayla a few times already....on the operating table, in an elevator, while being held by Remington. It is only a matter of time before she is gone for good. Her family, especially her boyfriend, are determined to make the most of her final earthly days. Because with Kayla....they never know when her time expires.
