CPOG book 1she had quite the imagination, even as a young child. from comic books to pirate ships, they all inhabited her brain like they somehow all fit together like pieces of a puzzle. she was never quote on quote attractive, with her square glasses balanced on the tip of her nose and her messy brunette bun placed atop her head, but she had never gone too far to think she was ugly. she believed everyone was beautiful, even if sometimes you had to look past their looks to realize that. originally she should have been the hero of her story; the protagonist; the main character, but soon she realized she may not be interesting enough to do so. instead, she crafted the world around her into a story, taking in every detail. the way her ignorant sister prayed every night before bed, the way her sister's bookworm girlfriend enjoyed tea over coffee, and the way her knuckle-head brother slowly realized he had so much potential and became so confident. she noticed the way her badass biker-bound best friend enjoyed reading fairy tales late at night, and the way her best friend's stubborn boyfriend had a soft spot for children. she even noticed how uncomfortable her goofball of a crush looked in his own body. the story was once about her, but now she was the one writing it. creating it. things were clearing up, things were making sense again. and as much as she wished that she could be someone special who rode on pirate ships with her pirate dad and completed secret missions with the coffee loving sports shop owner, all she really could do was ride in cars with her flaming homosexual dad, and visit the sad, coffee loving sports shop owner, hoping she wouldn't one day walk on him dead, her story stopping at a halt before it even had begun.

This is her way of keeping balance on Creation without the need to physically enter it herself while staying invisible to both good and evil. After all, her job is not to define morality, its merely to keep the natural order from collapsing.
