THE LAST CHAPTER of Your Life

A book is remembered more often for how it ends than for how it starts. We are a book that God is writing. Often, the tricky devil, when he can no more stand the zeal of our early days, takes a break from the middle chapters of our life, waiting to put his foul pen to the closing details, so that, like Saul the first king of Israel, our story ends with a lamentation, “How art the mighty fallen!”By several opinions, The Last Chapter is a book of great inspiration, which explains its several reprints. A speechless early reader described it as “un-put-downable.” Beyond the glamorous religious commitments of your amiable beginning, be mindful that the devil does not write the last chapter of your life.

When Men Arise

God will not do for you what He has given you hands to do for yourself. Between the “It shall come to pass” of prophetic declaration, and the “It came to pass” of prophetic fulfillment, there is usually human intervention. There is a limit to what God can do among men until they arise. You will never arrive at your destination until you arise. The lepers in Samaria asked themselves, “Why sit we here until we die?” If you sit, you will die. Even when God has multiplied your bread and fish, He will not put it into your mouth. You still will starve if you do not do something. Even when He has brought you to the thresholds of a vast Promised Land, you can only get as much as the soles of your feet shall dare to tread, not as much as you may dare to dream. Regrettably, Solomon tells all that the lazy person will be killed by his uncanny satellite eye by which he is able to see, from the safety of his fortified room, that “There is a lion in the way.” God will arise when men arise.

" H E A R, O E A R T H ! "

It was sometime between November and December, 1995: the word came to me in my bedroom as I was busy putting things in order: “Hear, O earth!” I understood that I was receiving a message which I was supposed to sit before the Lord to get in full. I said to myself that I was going to do that, but I deferred it. About one week later, the word came again strongly, in the same bedroom. Again I realised it was a message I had to write, but again I deferred it somewhat `until a more convenient time.’ It was not until the 30th of December (as the message is dated) that, as I also fasted, I sat down to begin, and the message continued over several days. Each day, a new dimension of the truth herein explained, opened up. During the period and after, aspects or summaries of this message have been shared with various persons and groups, and it has offered a lot of insights and has been a great blessing. My own prayer life and spiritual perceptions have been greatly enhanced by this message. My soul and spirit received great inspirations therefrom. The message is brought to you in the hope that you also will be benefited by it as we all equip ourselves with the weapon of the knowledge of the Word of God in our warfare in deliverance of our land. Amen.

MYSTERY MEALS AND COMMUNION

In some Christian circles, the Holy Communion has dwindled into a ritual. Not many understand its remarkable powers to heal or kill or affect the destinies of the eaters in remarkable ways. Could those meals and drinks be waved off as merely food and drink? When spiritual complications result from natural communions, could not those communions be said to have had mystical attachments?

Positioned for the Blessing

Sometimes we ask for blessings that we may never receive, because we are not where those blessings can reach us. One may possess the supernatural power to call down fire from heaven, but before that, the common sense to employ simple natural power to repair and prepare the altar on which that fire should fall (1 Kings 18:30-32). Often, blessings miss us, not because they were never sent, but because we were never at the address to which they were sent. Had Zacharias the Priest been absent from the altar where the messenger from Heaven met him with the miracle ‘baby-parcel’ six months before “Christmas,” perhaps the world would have had to wait another century for another John the Baptist. Who knows! May yours not be another cycle of beautiful dreams sadly missed. May your packages in the days to come locate you as you get…
