As I am a student I have done more than enough study on Shakespeare. This year we studied Macbeth and I believe that I could help by putting my notes on here for anyone who needs them. They consist of "key quotes" and a general break down of the play itself.I hope this is of help to you.

It's a blend of sonnet and poem dedicated to a beautiful, chaste girl who meant everything to me at one point in time, but alas! Now that time has been snatched, the girl rests blissfully in another dimension. 😢

A Shakespeare reimaging! An assignment for a Voice and Movement class I took earlier in the year. The idea was to choose one of Shakespeare's sonnets and rewrite it more modern language. The goal was that, in doing so, we'd gain a better understanding of what the sonnet is trying to say.I chose sonnet 30, "When in the sessions of sweet silent thought".Enjoy!
This sonnet was written to express my emotion towards a failed marriage the ugliness of its embodiment personified.
Beautiful songs. Beautiful women. Beautifully dangerous waters that sailors will wish they never sailed.

*This is based off of a real story*William Shakespeare, one of the greatest writers of all time, had a son, who tragically died in childhood. Using vivid imagery, this story captures the beauty of life and time while showcasing death and the cruelties of a never-changing world. Sonnet 60 is weaved around the story. Based off of Shakespeare's and Hamnet's life, this story proves that nobody is immune to tragedy of life.
