Cierro los ojos y lo único que oigo es el silbido lejano de los grillos. La cama está fría y se me eriza la piel. Mi cuerpo está recubierto por una fina capa de tela blanca a lo que llaman camiseta. Quizá lo que lo enrarezca sea mi miedo. Mi habitación está llena de él. Me parece oír un ruido que proviene de la planta inferior a la que me encuentro yo. Abro los ojos pero no consigo ver nada. Saco mis delgadas piernas de las mantas y me esfuerzo por mover los engranajes de mi anatomía. El suelo está congelado, pero no tengo nada para recubrir mis dedos. Salgo de mi habitación y el pasillo está iluminado por un leve haz de luz que me permite ver el terreno que piso. En medio de un pasillo largo se encuentran las escaleras por las cuales estoy bajando. Estas llevan directamente a la puerta principal de la casa. Decido abrir la puerta y con lo que se encuentran mis ojos es con una figura negra sentada en el césped. - Aquí la vista es confortable - digo mientras me agacho a su lado. La cálida luz de la luna y el precioso cielo azul marino lleno de pequeños destellos de luz, nos aguarda de los malos momentos.

Na opačné straně než byl Kamenný Újezd, leželo město Minopolis. Minopolis bylo laděno do temných barev, stejně jako život v něm, mohli přežít jen ti nejsilnější a tak se denně stávalo, že někdo na ulici zemřel. Na okraji Minopolis žila holčička se svými dvěma mladšími bratry a mámou, která pracovala v přístavu. Tato holčička si takhle jednou hrála s bratry na schovávanou, když najednou se ozvala rána jako z děla. Byl to náraz lodě na zem, ze které najednou začali vybíhat lidé divně oděni do světlých kožených zbrojí a na hlavě měli světlou přilbici, sotva se dotkli země začali vraždit lidi. Holčička popadla své dva bratry a utíkali do blízkých jeskyní a tam se ukryli. Po chvíli se ve vchodu do jeskyně objevili dva útočníci. Chystali se do jeskyně hodit sud střelného prachu a zapálit ho ohnivým šípem. Sotva jeden z nich vzal do rukou sud, druhému projela čepel krkem a padl na zem mrtev. Druhý se rozmáchnul mečem, ale byl příliš pomalý. Dostal tak silný výboj blesků, že se mu z toho uškvařily vnitřnosti. Ve vchodu do jeskyně se objevila postava vzrostlého muže v světle zářící plátové zbroji a pravil "Už můžete, vylézt ochráním vás. Jsem Osvoboditel, určitě jste o mě slyšeli. Měli jste tu někoho? Mámu nebo Otce?". Holčička vyhrkla "Mámu, pracovala v přístavu.". A Osvoboditel jí na to odpověděl "Je mi líto, ale nikdo v přístavu nepřežil. Prošel jsem jednu loď za druhou, nevynechal jediný neprozkoumaný metr. Teď vás tři musím dostat odtud. Je jediný místo, kde se můžete schovat Cech Hrdinů.
