(also huuuge credit to all the amazing artists who created the pictures both on the cover of this book and in each chapter. their work is so incredible-i wish i could make art like that)

i was an irredeemable villain. but you decided i was an angel instead. THE TRUTH WAS THAT if Remiel Chen had a choice, she'd never have gone back. She'd never have gone back to Gotham if the situation hadn't been so dire, if her adopted mother and mentor had not demanded she do so. She'd thought the life was behind her, that she could live like anyone else, experience normality. But the League of Assassins was in danger, and despite having turned her back to them, she couldn't deny that it was still a part of her. If Seraphina al Ghul demanded her role was in Gotham City by Damian's side, that was where she would go.
