P.S I Hate Love
"P.S. I Hate Love" is a collection of poems, things I've heard or seen, or thought about. They're all connected to only one thing and that is love. The first poem was written when I was around 15 years old and the last one appeared just a few weeks before I turned 21. They're not in a perfect time order, they are structured in a way to tell a story of highs and lows. For all those years I loved love, laughed at it, mourned with it, cursed, disowned, and despised it. I also understood that love doesn't come with the first relationship but shapeshifts into so many different colors and layers, into so many faces. Love doesn't come easy. Love can destroy or rebirth you. Love isn't a cliché, love is real. Frankly, I don't hate love. I wrote down everything through the years like a magpie who's scared that someday it'll forget how it felt through its life. But now I've had love overflowing my heart by lots so I'm emptying it for the new dosages of that feeling.
