hello again! another poetry book - number four, to be exact. if you've been here a while, you know the drill: there's no order to this thing, and after 100 poems or writing pieces, there's gonna be a new book.about the cover: it was a Thursday at Street Spirits, a local theatre group in PG. I was waiting outside the building, and it started raining. I liked the aesthetic of it. it gave off a very "theatre of the oppressed" feel, which is what Street Spirits does. Scream a melody, fly away
NyooomI was in my credit recovery class and one of the assignments was to write a poem. Being the procrastinating goldfish I am, I waited until there was about 20 minutes left of class to write it. *Panic ensues* So I took a few of my favorite snippets from some of my existing stories and added sprinkles of emotionally deep bs, and I turned that in with at least 13 minutes to spare.Panic writing is what I master in~Anyways I thought, this poem is pretty in line with my usual writing, why not post it? Just writing the guy I love.Which probably makes no sense.Ill try to explain.Basically, I want to be a behavioral analyst. I read people fairly well, I think. And when I write people, Im trying to get inside their heads, trying to figure out why they do things. Stuff like that.This guy. Ive loved him for 2 years. Yes, he knows. No, we've never been a couple.And I just felt like he wasnt in the best place rn (although Im not entirely sure because we're 10hrs apart and his phone isnt on right now).
