Her quirky attitude irks him. They both dislike each other, and they know it, but still, they find each other insanely attractive. These emotions intensify furiously however, when she takes someone from him and is forced into proximity with him as his revenge for her carelessness. Regardless of the fact that he destroys Alaina's life and treats her like shit over and over again, she can't stop herself or her subconscious from fan-girling over the beast and wanting explicit things from him. She doesn't want to, and she tries so very hard to stop herself from becoming attached to a man who treated her just as bad as her dad did her mum...but when his brusque, impulsive and ungentlemanly layers are peeled off piece by piece, and all his secrets are revealed to her, barring a side of him to her which no one else on Earth knows exists, she proves everyone right once again on the subject of how weak-willed and spineless she truly is. Or does she?
