Some parts also inspired by Henry Mayhew's London Labour and the London Poor. I will confess myself to be more of a historian than an author, and as such, this book is primarily an attempt to bring some history into a retelling of the aspect of Les Miserables that seems to have captured so many people's imaginations - that is to say, the June Rebellion of 1832 and the lead up to it. {Enjolras x OC}
