The plot unfolds through six characters, each with their unique challenges and obstacles. The interpretation starts from the scene where Ariadne takes the elevator down to the basement of Cobb's dream where she learns about Mal. 'Memory' is an exquisite blend of action, tragedy and imagination. The interpretation starts from the middle and ends in the middle which keeps the soul of the movie; a dream starts from the middle and ends in the middle, intact.
