After a broken family had finally found back together and started to heal, it was clear that the children Mary Lennox and Colin Craven needed a teacher. After all, they were nobles, and as social norms would want it, they needed to get a proper education. And it arrived in the form of the young teacher Miss Baileys. This story revolves around the characters Archibald Craven and his family from Frances Hodgson Burnett's "The Secret Garden" (especially the 1993 movie)I do not own any characters, except Aurora Baileys!I am aware of the issues this story has (yes, I am talking about the racism/white supremacism in the book) and I will try and address and resolve these issues in a way that feels natural the story (bc guess what, it is a fanfiction and I can do whatever I like with it). Lastly, fyi, English is not my first language but I study English, so writing this story also kind of functions as English practice for me.

Miria Berik is a descendant of the great Mandalorian Jedi, Tarre Vizsla. Her father, Atlan Vizsla, was a Mandalorian, but once he married her mother, Dabrie Berik, he rejected the Mandalorian religion since she helped him realize the warrior ways they resented. They wished to keep their daughter, Miria, safe from the Clone Wars and safe from the radical Mandalorians that wished her dead. Years later, when Miria is 18, she discovers that she is force-sensitive. Her parents take her to the Jedi temple for her safety, and try to hide the past of her lineage. She is placed under the care of Jedi General Obi-Wan Kenobi, and he is tasked with the responsibility of overseeing her training as a Jedi. She has the hope that one day, she will be able to reunite with her parents and allow them the freedom to live out of hiding by confronting the Mandalorians. (She is rather old to be a padawan, but the force is very strong with the select Vizslas it lies with. She will become a very powerful Jedi. It was okay beause they wanted to hurt the Earth! To hurt you guys!" TP lifts up her head to show her tears. "Tp..." Steven trailed off. "But, I don't want to hurt you. If I hurt you..." "Tp..." "I just migh-" "Tp." "Shatter myse-" "TP!" Her head shoot up, giving her attention to the halfling. Steven tackles her in a hug, his own tears falling. "You didn't hurt those gems! They hurt you!" The little Peridot's face scrunches up in confusion. "But-" "It doesn't matter what they said! It wasn't you! It was never you!" Tp's tears started to fall more slowly, almost stopping. "But... what if I hurt you?" Steven chuckled and pulled away from her. Wiping his tears away, her stands up, and offers a hand. "You won't. And never ever talk about shattering yourself again. Whatever comes our way, we'll do it together." The little peridot looks at his hand, then to his smiling face. Smiling back, she wipes her tears and takes his hand. The both of them not knowing that their gems were glowing, and that everyone was watching secretly, they hug. "Promise?" "I promise." They pull away, holding hands, gems still glowing. Steven unexpectedly kisses her cheek. Blushing, she hides her face in his shoulder. Steven chuckles and picks her up by her waist. "S-Steven!" He twirls her around, still laughing. After a couple of seconds of teasing her, she finally laughs. They spin, and spin, 'til finally, they fused. The fusion opens her eyes, giggling. She then freezes. "A-Ah! I'm sorry! I'm... wait. I'm okay. I'm okay!" She hugs herself, tripping over her extra leg. Bursting out laughing, she sighs happily. "I'm okay."
