He knows she couldn't have just vanished and is dedicated to find her murderer to avenge her. He meets an ex-co-owner of the diner Dee got abducted in, Dave Miller (who happens to be an abuse victim), and they do dumb gay stuff together. This is a slowburn gay romance seasoned with my shitty humor, with just the right amount of spice and a little bit of detective action. First fanfic by the way.
