hi, I'm Lucy, Lucy Gray Baird. I'm a 16 year old girl from District 12 and I was reaped for the 10th games. These games were considered to be a great embarrassment to the capital, due to nine of the tributes dying before the games had even begun, along with an intruder illegally entering the arena and allegations of cheating on behalf of the victor. That said, this year saw the start of many traditions that are still popular in our games today, such as the tributes' interviews and the ability to send in sponsor gifts, not to mention the introduction of animals into the arena. However instead of having mentors from their own district, their mentors were students of the capital. This mentoring system is often considered to be a mistake, due to the mentors having too much control over the games.
