The Masterpiece
On a day trip into town, the kommandant of the toughest POW camp in all of Germany meets a woman and falls head over heels in a heartbeat. After a frivolous night out, he ends up visiting her apartment for weekly drawing lessons - a thinly veiled excuse to keep calling on her. The young painter, however, may be more than meets the eye, and her monumental secret may lead the both of them down a dark path into danger.The idea for this story comes from the sixth season HH episode Klink's Masterpiece, in which Klink is duped into believing he is an artistic genius. Largely a self-insert in the guise of a full-fledged story, I still thought Klink fans out there might want to give it a read! Klink/OFC. (Dear readers, I love this man far too much.)
