A long while ago before Kion's Lion Guard was made, Nala had a friend, a very close friend.This friend's name was Nirmala.After a forbidden romance, Nirmala was forced to leave her one true love. She became so embedded in grief that she gave up her only cub out of despair. Nala agreed to raise the cub as her own and tell everyone including the cub that she was it's mother.But somehow, Nala didn't think that the cub, Kion, would be better off living this lie.Until someone very close to him finds out the truth...[CONTENT WARNING: Detailed descriptions of gore and brief attempts of suicide. Beginning to hold more grudges, being more hostile, and just not having the will to keep fighting, Kion slowly turns into a lion his friends have never seen before.Will they find a way to prevail, or is this the end of Kion's story?

The Lion Guard: Desire of the Soul (KionxFuli)
The Lion Guard return to their home, the Pride Lands, only to find out their true place in the Circle of Life is the Tree of Life. They go back and the Lion Guard leader, Kion, marries the leader of the Night Pride and Queen of the Tree, Rani. Everyone is overjoyed, especially Fuli, one of Kion's closest friends. With her new position as part of the Daylight Guardians, she vows to herself to protect the Tree of Life with the same amount of strength and respect she had when protecting the Pride Lands. For moons, all was well and peaceful, until one fateful day, tragedy struck. Rani went missing and all that was left of her was her blood staining a lake. She was assumed dead, devastating everyone, especially Kion, and leaving their litter of cubs down one parent. As Fuli tries her best to help her friend raise the motherless cubs, she and Kion grow close and soon start to see each other more than just teammates and good friends, though Fuli tries to deny them while dealing with her own growing, conflicted relationship with her mate, Azaad. Then one day, a pride of rogue lions come to the Tree of Life and Kion welcomes them in. Happy (early) Halloween. Here's a little special to go with my series. While traveling through the forest, Kion is starting to lose control. The Tuliza blossoms that were supposed to help calm him down were now starting to lose their effect on him too. Worst of all, Bunga's assumptions of Kion becoming evil are starting to come true, though Fuli still denies this, believing that her friend knows better. But then a fight ensues between her and Kion, and when he finally snaps out of his rage, Fuli had already died. Out of guilt and shame, he runs away from his friends and gets trapped in the tunnels. Will the Lion Guard save him, or will they leave him? Could this really be the end of Kion and his Guard's long lasting friendship?(Completed on October 25, 2020)(Dedicated to CheetahpawTheFastest)

Badala has finally taken over the Tree of Life and Kion, Fuli, Taaj, Nuru, and Kianga are forced into self-exile. Now homeless with Kion also fatally ill, Fuli must look after everyone all by herself. Despite caring greatly for him, Fuli still feels a bit awkward and embarrassed around Kion since she confessed and begins to question her feelings for him. Kion is still full of guilt for not listening to his friend and ashamed of himself for letting his heart get fooled by Badala. He soon begins to have some of his old feelings coming back to him but wonders whether he is worthy of them.The two friends must stick together if they are ever going to survive and save the kingdom from the enemies. Will they succeed? Is the Tree of Life and all its inhabitants doomed forever? Kion and Rani: A Forced Marriage
Kion, leader of the Lion Guard, was always hopeful that the war he grew up in would end. His dreams came true, but not without a price. He got bit by a venomous snake named Ushari during the final battle. The venom would cause him to turn evil if left untreated, just like his great uncle Scar. He would have to journey to the Tree of Life to heal it, but also for another reason. He had just found out he was betrothed to a lioness from that faraway land that he had never met. Wallowing in sorrow and self-pity, Kion wonders what the future will hold for him in this lioness. Will it be sorrowful? Filled with hate? Those were some of the many things he wondered fearfully.
