I'm tired of all the comments I have gotten about having a story that sucks (nicer version of comments). So this is your waning and if you post hateful things I will block you. I wrote this story when I was 15 and now I'm 20. So I understand the story is confusing my gosh stop.

This short story is something I recovered from an old school folder. The assignment had been to listen to a piece of music, in which the teacher had provided for us, and write a short story or film in which this music could be played in the background. This is honestly one of my favorite pieces of writing from when I was younger, so I thought I might take the excerpt and upload it here. So that I can share it with you, too. Enjoy ;)

A Man and His Mind
Nathan and Sadie met in high school, sweethearts for life. Actually, they ended up spending their lives together, side by side. Now, on his deathbed, Nathan lies in a coma, unable to communicate with the ones who love him, especially Sadie. But Sadie promises to stay by him, reading from a journal of stories (memories of their life together) that she has kept all these years. Each day she reads him an excerpt and visits by his bedside, all the while wondering: Can he hear me?Little does she know, although he is inacapacitated physically, he is more than alive in his mind.
Avoiding Dead Ends
Katie's childhood was littered with severe abuse and violence, after her father passed away and mother spiraled into a deep depression and alcoholism. She worked her hardest to achieve the best and became the top of her class in highschool. But little did they know that her homelife had a plethora of unimaginable flaws. When she's finally had enough at the age of 17, she takes matters into her own hands, leaving the home to be on her own. But after a year living on the streets, she is basically unrecoverable and she develops Borderline Personality Disorder. A friend of Katie's finds her half-dead, mentally unstable body on a bench in the local park. She decides to take Katie to a Mental Institution to find some help for her.But no institute could fix what Katie had become. And they had no clue what she had in store for them.
