They learned and learned hoping people would notice their intelligence but no one ever did. All they cared about was quirks. Well if that's all people care about then that's what we'll get. They spent the following years studying genetics and quirk science, all in the effort of making their own quirks. It was a lot of trial and effort. Many times they wanted to give up. Eventually, with a lot of hard work and effort, they succeeded. But sadly they were not the same people they were when they began. One does not discover the impossible without... compromises.
