'no..no..no.' Reina thought. Reina knew that Mags Flanagan,she won the 11th hunger games and was Reina and Finnick's mentor,wouldn't last a day.Annie Cresta,A girl who's mental heath had declined so much since her games,Simply couldn't go through that again. Leaving Reina,the only female tribute who would still have a chance in the arena again.But,Finnick was the only alive male tribute. It was settled in her mind.
It had to be Her and finnick.
'Reina Winters report to my office.' Reina knew who's office she had to go to just by the sound of that voice.
"What do you want." She said sarcastically walking into the office.
"Reina my dear,sit down." President snow told her. As if he was controlling her every move,Reina walked forward and sat in the chair.
"Now Reina you've heard the announcement for the quarter quell. I've heard so called rumors of a 'rebellion'. Now, I'm sending you in there.I need you to figure out anything I should know about the rebellion."
"President i assure you there's not a rebellion.But I can assure you other victors are mad as f*ck at you right now."
"We'll I know that.But if you hear anything about a rebellion,you will tell me.The games are set up for you too win so u can report back.you may go now."
Reina just up and left the room.Peacekeepers escorted her too the train,where she would soon be back in her home district.She's only be on the train for a night.So she slept the day away,She wanted to let go and just be a normal human.
Once Reina reached district four she was met with finnick and coyro. She smiled softly at her brother as he ran to hug her. He was now fourteen,Growing faster then Reina could keep up.
"Hi coyro." She whispered in a soft tone.
"Finnick has been waiting to see you." He whispered back.Reina let go and nodded to him.
Reina stood up and embraced finnick in a hug. Finnick was so much taller then the last time she hugged him. She had too stand on her tippy toes. For a minute finnick was frozen,not thinking she would hug him. He wrapped his arms around her waist and picked her up.
"Hi Finn.." Reina whispered into his ear. This made his face light pink.
"Rei.." is all he said. They both missed each others warmth,They both longed for each others touch after 7 years. Coyro scoffed, cause finnick too put the younger back into the ground softly.
  "I would really hate to break up the reunion,but it's time for the reaping." Coyro said.
  "Right.." Reina quietly said.They started walked when finnick grabbed Reina's hand. He intertwined their hands, almost immediately Reina squeezed his hand in nervousness. They made it too the stage and split their hands.Reina stood with Mags and Annie. She gave Mags a quick smile. She really missed her.
  The mayor gave his introduction then continued.
  "As always,ladies first." He walked over to the bowl and drew a slip. "Mags Flanagan."
  "I volunteer as tribute." Reina had said almost immediately. Mags tried to stop her but she couldn't. It was done. Reina walked to where she was supposed to stand and faced the crowd with a blank face.
  "Now for the male tribute." He walked over and drew the only slip in the bowl.
  "Finnick Odair." Finnick made his way to where he was supposed to stand.
  "Ladies and gentlemen,Your 75th quarter quell tributes!" The mayor exclaimed. Finnick and Reina turned to each other and shoot hands. The peace keeps suddenly grabbed them and forced them towards the train.
  "Hold on let me say goodbye.I have too say goodbye.." Reina yelled.
  "New rules,straight to the train."
  " REINA REINA!" She heard coyro yell for her.
  "COYRO." She yelled back. Thats when she realized the only person who had been taking care of him all these years had been going into the games with her.
