Braga stood on his knees, whispering prayers in Spanish with his eyes closed after the pastor had exited the church

"You ain't forgiven" Dom's deep voice made Braga open his eyes and be met with two guns pointing right at him

"You boys want to arrest me?... aqui mesmo?" Braga asked not moving a muscle "No, we're beyond that" Brian responded, often glancing to the main door of the church "You can't buy your way outta this one"

"Hermano, you and me-- you and me, we not so different... you're no hero" Braga said which made Dom load the shotgun unhooking it from its safety hinge, Braga closing his eyes in fear and desperation that somehow he could be saved

"You're right, and that's why you're going back across the border" Dom spoke which made Brian firstly glance at Dom with uncertainty but then proceeding to clasp handcuffs on Braga's wrists

"But Fenix is mine"

Brian's Subaru Impreza WRX took a few sharp turns as it glided through the streets, Dominic following behind in his charger

"You'll make it a couple of miles out, if you're lucky" Braga attempted to scare the man but instead being completely ignored by Brian who was swerving traffic in complete silence

They reached the dirt road, causing the road to become more reckless and unsteady, the piles of dust making it harder to see

"You know where you going?" A teasing smug grin was spread across Braga's face as his body shook around in the seat, Brian glancing at him "You wanna borrow my GPS?"

The only thing Braga could do is laugh, which pissed Brian off to the absolute core

"Where your boys at? They gonna show up or what?" And as if Brian summoned them, a wave of machine gunshots were fired, continuing to come more and more from uncountable directions "Careful what you ask for"

It was like the whole village was there, against Brian seeing that all the bullets were directed to his vehicle

"Just stop, just stop the car" Braga attempted to convince Brian but of course failing when the back windshield was shot out, making glass shatter inside the car, Braga shortly after screeching and yelling in fear "¿Que hacen?"

Meanwhile, Fenix had arrived on the scene, tipping over cars who were in his way "¡No disparen al jefe, idiotas!"

"Right behind you" Dom said through the two-way radio making Brian look back seeing a destructed truck come his way but was immediately flung over by Dom, the truck disappearing over the hill

"Dom head to the tunnel, let's use the tunnel" Brian spoke into the radio as they reached the open zone that led to the tunnels

Many vehicles swerved past Dom and joined Brian in front which made the man smash his window with his bare elbow before starting to flat tires with the shotgun

"Get outta here, Brian" Dom spoke making Brian accelerate Dom doing the exact opposite

"You sure you know where the tunnels are? You sure?" Braga's words didn't seem to affect Brian in any way as he continued to drive straight forward "Yeah, I'd hold on... this might hurt"

Brian smashed through the rock and into the tunnel, Fenix now following closely behind

"You're in my world now, baby!" Fenix yelled with a smug smile on his face

But his smile was quickly wiped off his face when he heard another engine behind him, Sage

"Cabrona!" Fenix yelled in frustration as he hit his steering wheel before speeding up causing the Ford Maverick GT 1975 which Sage was driving to also speed up

Fenix glanced to his side, as he saw the woman staring right at him, the two holding eye contact for a good minute before she clashed her vehicle into Fenix's, making both of them become unsteady while they shook from side to side

Sage eventually was forced behind Fenix as the tunnel became narrower, seeing Brian turn in the wrong direction "That's it baby, end of the road!"

"Now what?" Braga asked Brian with a smirk on his face, not having anywhere else to go but straight "No, no, no, no!"

Brian clashed into another closed-off area, making a new route open up for the three cars to continue their chase

Sage managed to get past the dark green Ford Gran Torino, swerving next to Brian, the woman motioning forward indicating him to follow her out of the tunnels, which the man nodded in response

Just when the woman took the lead in front, Fenix now joined alongside Brian "Come on! Braga yelled in desperation before Fenix managed to slip in between the two vehicles

Sage to take the lead hoping that Brian could keep following her despite the vehicle who kept blocking him

The Ford Maverick was suddenly spun around by Brian's Subaru making both of them loose complete control. Sage's  eyes widened when she looked to her side just before the cars were punched through the hard rock

The woman's vision became blurred when she hit her head on the roof of the vehicle while it spun around what seemed like forever, over and over again

Fenix got out of his car, groaning in agony "Hey! Get me outta here!" Braga coughed out making Fenix walk over to the wrecked vehicle, pulling out his boss

"Vámonos" Exhaling sharply the man patted his boss on the back, preparing to leave, a yell catching his attention as Brian fell out of the Subaru in intense pain

The gun hammer cocked as Fenix walked over to the fragile man, kicking the door shut, afterwards Brian received a harsh kick as well, but another gun cocking made Fenix lock eyes with a struggling Sage behind him, the gun in her hand pointing right at him

The woman tried her best to stand tall, not to appear weak despite her trembling and weak appearance, blood streaming from a bash on her head

"Simplemente no mueres, nè?" Fenix chuckled looking at the woman

"Guess not" Sage breathed out as she took a couple steps toward Fenix until the weapon was touching the man's flesh

"Fucking shoot him and my face will be the last thing you see" The gun harshly tapped Fenix's head with every word that she spoke

A big explosion inside of the tunnels caught everyone's attention, and Fenix took the opportunity, swatting the weapon out of Sage's hand and wrapping his muscled arm around the woman's throat

Sage gasped for air as she dug her short nails into Fenix's arm in attempt to lighten the pressure that was currently being put on her neck. The woman's whole body was aching from the crashing and the fact that she was currently desperately gasping for air wasn't helping

Just then Dominic busted through the tunnel walls, swarming with rapid speed with the intent of running into Fenix. Everyone's eyes doubled in size, Brian grasped Fenix's ankle which kept the man in place but Sage who was still trapped under Fenix's control saw her own life flash before her eyes as her vision started to fade because of the lack of air

When the woman was on the nip of  loosing consciousness she felt her body being thrown to the ground, allowing her to gasp a breath of air, before hearing a loud crashing sound which made her ears start to ring

Sage looked to her left, seeing two vehicles crashed into each other and Fenix in between them, he could've had Sage killed along with himself but he didn't. He chose to let the woman live.

When Dom got out of the car his eyes landed on Sage, who was laying on the rough sand not moving a muscle

"Sage!" The man slid onto the ground next to Sage, seeing that she was thankfully breathing even if it wasn't steadying

"Brian" Sage repeated her words as she tried her best to point at the cop, until Dom attempted to pick her up, but the woman managed to stand up by herself  with some of Dom's help "I'm fine"

The two jogged towards Brian, who was currently groaning in agony while holding his side

"Let me see that" Dom spoke as he reached for the wound, clearly it was badly wounded "Yeah, just keep pressure there. You'll be all right"

The sound of sirens wailing and helicopters approaching caught everyone's attention

"You two gotta get outta here" Brian managed to breathe out, the words made Dom lock eyes with Sage "Nah, Sage has to go. I ain't runnin' anymore"

Sage eyes widened as she shook her head, still trying to normalize her breathing "Dom, if you're staying I'm staying"

"Sage. Go." The man retorted sternly but Sage wouldn't cope, she stood in front of Dom before falling down on her knees

"I'm not leaving Dom" Sage spoke with seriousness in her voice, resting her face on Dom's knee

"Sage please..." The man trailed off, he lifted Sage's head with his hand making the two lock eyes "You said if there's anything that I needed you to do, you'd do it. So I want you to get outta here. Okay?"

Sage's eyes brimmed with tears but she reluctantly nodded which made Dom do the same, allowing her to stand up and walk to a non-damaged vehicle.
The woman looked back at the two men on the ground, one of them nodding for her to get into the car which she did, before driving off the opposite way than the mass of police cars

"I gotta ask you something" Brian panted heavily, catching Dom's attention "Yeah?"

"You know I would've- I would've won that race if you didn't cheat, right?"

"You hit your head hard" The reaction made Brian laugh but quickly stop when it caused more pain "Don't make me laugh"

"Oh and- you definitely have something for Sage" Brian added which made a small smile tug on the man's lips "Again, you hit your head hard"
