No one's pov:

"Lixue! Lixue!" Kino looked around clutching her wounded side looking around for her best friend. Kino squeezed her eyes shut at the pain coming from her side, But she had to find lixue and ensure she was alright and safe. "Get away from her!" Kino turned her head quickly to where the scream came from 'That sounded like wen ruohan!' Kino felt her blood run cold, Before she could even collect her thoughts her boy was running as fast as it could toward where the scream came from.

"Stop" Another scream was heard, 'Lixue' Kino sped running as much as she could, Kino was led back to the battlefield where dead bodies were littered everywhere. Kino shuttered at the blood and bodies surrounding her, Kino just wanted this all to be a bad dream. Kino looked around for lixue and ruohan only to be met with a horrible sight, Wen ruohan was bloody and beaten standing in front of lixue who had a bloody leg and was crying.

A crystal corpse was standing in front of them ready to attack, Kino panicked and grabbed a sword out of one of the dead body's hands and raced toward the corpse blocking the crystal attack. "Kino!" Lixue and ruohan shouted when Kino blocked the attack, "Oh my~ Another plaything!~" The corpse said smiling sadistically while preparing another attack.

Kino frowned and blocked the next attack that the crystal corpse sent, "You two get out of here now!" Kino pushed ruohan who was holding lixue back and tried to get him to run from the corpse. "No kino! We're not leaving you here alone!" Lixue tried to protest but Kino didn't budge "Ruohan go now! Do not come back for me" Kino said sternly and pushed ruohan again while blocking the oncoming attacks for the crystalized corpse.

Ruohan hesitated to leave Kino to fight the corpse but Kino looked at him with a pleading look, Ruohan closed his eyes and started to run away from the fight. "Ruohan stop! Kino! Kino!" Lixue screamed trying to reach out to Kino who was fighting the crystal corpse.

'I'm sorry lixue' Kino thought as she raced toward the corpse, Hopping off of the crystal that the corpse summoned kino swung her sword at the corpse. "You think that will stop me?" The corpse laughed while making a crystal that stabbed Kino in the back, kino let out a small and muffled scream while having her eyes wide and looking at the ground as blood slowly dripped out her mouth.

"Hahahaha!" The crystal corpse laughed and threw Kino back against a wall, Kino's eyes squeezed shut at the pain coming from the crystal that was still in her body. Kino stood up with a grunt and ran toward the corpse again but the corpse caught her before she could land a hit on the corpse, "Do you really think you can land a hit on me?" Kino smile weakly and chuckled a soft chuckle "Think fast" The corpse looked at Kino confused.

The corpse screamed as black thread chopped its right leg and arm off, Kino broke the end of the crystal that was not inside her body so she wouldn't bleed out but the front of the crystal in her body was still Sharpe as a needle. "You Brat!" The corpse screams while Kino retracted the black strings that chopped the corpse Kino's breath hitched as the small pain in her side and stomach became intense.

"Gah!" Kino gritted her teeth and gripped the sword in her hand tightly her eyes squeezed shut and she fell onto the ground. Tears fell down her face the pain multiplied with every passing second, "Gah *Gasp* W-What's happening!" Kino gasped in pain while she let go of her sword and placed both of her hands on the ground. "Hahaha The crystals have a see-threw coat of poison on them" The corpse smiled sickly at Kino.

'Poison?' Kino's eyes widened as blood came pouring out her mouth like water but it was just pure blood. Her lips quivered as the corpse regenerated its legs and walked toward Kino and crouched beside her, The corpse scooped up some of the blood that Kino threw up. "Well isn't this beautiful, You're bleeding and dying so beautiful" Kino bit her lip trying to cover up all the shacky shallow breaths coming out her mouth "Aw don't hide your pain" Kino glared at the corpse which pissed it off.

"G-Gah!" Kino yelped as a crystal was stabbed into her right leg, "Gah! Ahhh!" The crystal got shoved deeper into her leg spinning around a bit. "You'll never save that friend of yours" Kino tensed up as those words left the corpse's mouth, "What was her name again?" The corpse stood up with its hand on its chin. "Ah, now I remember! Lixue" Kino looked over at the sword that was lying next to her and looked back at the corpse that was spouting bad things about lixue.

Kino glanced over at the sword multiple times as the corpse was talking about things, "Oh how lixue will die is so sad" Kino gritted her teeth grabbed the sword, and ran at the corpse with all her might. The sword jabbed right through the corpse "Pfft you think that's gonna work?" The corpse laughed out loud, "No but this might" Kino pushed the corpse making it fall into the deep canyon below.

Everything went black.

"What about Kino!" Lixue cried throwing her arms around at the thought of losing her best friend, "Lixue hun, Please calm down" Ruohan tried to calm down his fiance but it didn't work. "NO, SHE IS MY BEST FRIEND I WON'T LOSE HER!" Lixue shouted slamming her fist on the bed and gritting her teeth. It was over an hour when they ran from the battlefield, Lixue never stopped trying to escape from ruohan to go back to Kino.

"But I'm right here"

"What- KINO" Lixue hopped out of the bed she was in and raced over to her best friend who was standing in the doorway. "Nhn! Lixue let's not do that" Kino said pushing her away from the fresh wounds on her legs and arms "Oh my! Ruohan go get one of the nurses!" Lixue shouted helping Kino to a chair. "Thank god you are okay Kino" Lixue said smiling at Kino.

'Only if you knew' Kino thought.
